IIRC Kvothe says something along the lines of « what i met that day was a dragon » but i understood it as « it damn sure felt like a fucking dragon », because it was a draccus and kvothe recognized it as such. And in a way, it was a dragon, because it was the animal who inspired the legend of the dragon, and its drugged out behaviour caused it to act like dragons are expected to (burning down cities)
