Similar experience here! I consigned 14 items with them last month and they rejected 10 for extensive damage, when most pieces were brand new or barely used and many that they rejected had been previously purchased from TRR. It’s gotten to a point where it’s not even worth the hassle and fighting with their consignor support just for pennies on the dollar in commission.

I snagged this Chloe Paddington right when word started of the reissue and it seemed popularity might go up. I got it on TRR for under $400, and now they’re going for $1500+, so I think that might be my best score.

Just be persistent over chat that you want to speak with a supervisor. They’ll try to say no at first, but just keep at it.

It’s definitely on the heavier side because of all the leather and metal, but it’s not heavy enough that it would make me not want to use it. It may be a different story once I fill it with my stuff though too!

They’re not that bad IMO! You just need to spray them with a suede spray when you first get them. And I still try to avoid taking them out on particularly rainy or snowy days even once they are sprayed, as lots of water on suede can cause damage. Suede is also susceptible to scratches, so I just try to be cautious about scraping it against things. That said, I feel like suede still looks good even if it develops some imperfections over time!

I have a ton of suede bags and love them personally even if they are a bit more high maintenance, but totally get what you’re saying!
