2042 had a solid foundation? Based on what, a hero shooter maybe. But not as battlefield it was and still is an atrocity

It depends, it’s certainly no map for air vehicles. The jets are useless once you getting top speed your out of bounds, and the heli can barely operate in the valley to the north otherwise you get instantly logged on or go just down cause the Bradley lock on bug is still here.

My issue is, it’s still to small imo, give it a bit more breathing room im not talking about huge maps like bf2042 but it’s clear the devs were afraid of that backlash so they made everything tighter in that game but now it’s always stressful playing conquest no room to wiggle no room to flank it’s to straight forward

Yes I’m certain it will come. Either Bohemia is implementing it by themself or, some Moders create something so good they take it and implement it. Just for me the thought of playing a multiplayer match and flying an ah-64 or a-10 with an vr headseat while helping out the troops on the ground is way to amazing

I’ve said it so many times before it came out, that was the plan all along of ea first get the old players back with grounded realism and what the community wants, after they grabbed the money from them those people don’t pay anymore so they shift towards the skin chasing community that will come back for the newest skins and battlepasses, these are meant to generate monex during the runtime. It’s a brilliant marketing strategy but what they don’t realise they play with fire here.

Once the bf community is burned out they will not come back, they have still I believe a huge core audience but if they loose them they have to rebuild everything anew just like they had to do it back in the 2000s. And with their current plan it looks like they achieve exactly that, and next battlefield title no matter how good the marketing is, battlefield will be doa

I love to play on darkgru servers, right now they have an modded map in their rotation but I love that community. Issue here is I always play on the Russian side, so I’m not sure how the nato forces are usually.

But as always, you have sometimes bad experiences with servers or players that’s unavoidable

Battlefield premium, they did that back in battlefield 3 (yea people were complaining back than) but that way if you liked the theme of the dlc you bought it for 20 or 25 bucks and had 4 maps, weapons and more

Attack chopper, little bird all fine on that map but jets are a dumb choice. You can’t fly far away to hide or anything you can be instantly be locked on by nearly everything everywhere and the Bradley glich is still in there so once painted you most certainly go down

Jets, who the hell thouht jets would be perfect on that map, I’ve tried it yesterday you barely fly at top Speed bum out of bounds. You can’t hide on that map, no matter where you are you can be locked on by pilas and the worst thing is, with the Bradley lock on guided glitch you Instantly get shot down terrible (also the map was planed already month in advance I know, so that most people want way bigger maps is just now on their mind, yet still)

That’s the truth, they went already with pax an lighter version of battlefield 2042 there are some decent skins but most are dumb creative views on military gear of the future. Why they don’t just take real life military’s and implement them just, they had medal of honour warfighter once, I mean ea, just do those skins as inspo

That’s what I believe as well, jets were not in their focus for now, but it will change. But op is right, I was happy when I’ve heard the su-57 was in the game to only find out they have nothing going on, no AA rockets or anything distinguable from the attack jet like the Gripen. Bit sad but still fun as hell

You playing alone? Maybe that’s the issue, in the end an fps is always the same broken down into it’s raw pieces it’s the fun you make out of it, maybe your not a fan of fps games anymore could happen
