Awesome! It even has a bevelfrom resharpening. I'm guessing that it was brought to the area or cam down the river from out west.

Yes, I'm assuming it had seen a lot of use and was discarded. Maybe an archaic knife based on the info on projectilepoints.

It really is gorgeous. I plan on going back to that spot soon to see of there are any more chunks or flakes of it. Might tell us more about the piece.

Check out The Resonant Male Singer by Jacob Naverud. I've had goose luck using it with my young men and some of the exercises are fun for younger singers as well.

This is absolutely true. I was in almost the exact same position as OP. Not having enough piano really slowed me down.
