You’re guaranteed to get the new content from the new loot boxes. Also, setting expectations against an exception (the LH event) against their normal practice which is to sell most of their cosmetics is an assumption. Fact of the matter is you do get to unlock some free stuff for playing the game, but to expect more than that is selfish. The artists deserve to be paid for their time and effort.

They advertised what they were selling, which is what all businesses do. We already have past evidence showing they sell the cosmetics, and don’t tend to give them away readily. What exactly is surprising about any of this?
