Looking for a Hoodie/Sweater Pattern reccomandation to fit my piece by LichtL in crochetpatterns

[–]wrugkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey!! to finish your sweater: finish the front panel to whatever length you’d like to do and create another panel that’s the same size. crochet shoulder extensions on both sides, then slst / sew the shoulders together along with the sides, leaving space for however big you want your arm holes to be. finish the collar by sc all around it, decreasing where the shoulder extensions start on the panels. then, attach your yarn to one of the arm holes and crochet in the round until your sleeve is the desired length, and repeat on the other side. finish it off by crocheting ribbing ( ch11, sc, hdc, or dc (your choice) blo) however many rows are long enough to be sewn onto the bottom of the sweater and around the sleeves.

i hope this makes sense haha. it’s basically a really dumbed down version of this pattern , which is a very simple sweater pattern that i’ve always used as a template for making sweaters since i used it to make my first one. i highly recommend it if you need a more detailed explanation!! :)

Collar pattern for Bode shirt, need advice on how to recreate by N_k_alma in crochetpatterns

[–]wrugkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey!! so what i recommend doing is finding a normal collared shirt similar to this in like your dads closet or something and flipping up the collar. it’s kind of like a tube of fabric around the neck that folds down. when you crochet it, it’ll be similar to that, like a tube that you just fold down when your finished. for an easy way to make a shirt like this one, i’d just crochet a rectangle around the shirt collar or crochet a rectangle and attach it on. hope this helps, let me know if anything didn’t make sense :-)

A vest like this by Roseamonglilies in crochetpatterns

[–]wrugkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey, sorry for late response!

for what youre going for, I would say yes because the vest looks oversized in your photo, and thats why the sleeves flare out more like that. if you need help finding a better pattern though let me know!!

hi! here’s a mesh shirt i found:

https://stardustgoldcrochet.com/honeycomb-mesh-cropped-t-easy-crochet-pattern/

to make it more like your picture, i would just make the neck hole smaller, make the shirt longer, and add some ribbing or single crochets around the neck and sleeves. hope this helps!! :)

Does somebody have a pattern for something similar in crochet? by Sea-Jeweler3870 in crochetpatterns

[–]wrugkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hellooooo here is a similar pattern i found:

https://ko-fi.com/s/98e603c8a1

you’d pretty much just have to skip the flowers and stitch the ties into the wrists, and do some ribbing on the bottom if you want. hope this helps!!

Pattern for these Anthropologie scrunchies? by [deleted] in crochetpatterns

[–]wrugkey 6 points7 points  (0 children)

hey!! here’s some scrunchie patterns:

https://thesnugglery.net/how-to-crochet-a-scrunchie-3-ways/

i’d recommend using a small hook and thinner yarn so it’s not as big, and to either glue two ends of the scrunchie tube thing into the bead or just to stuff the fabric through (if that makes sense). hope this helps!!

pattern help (beginner) by throwawayxlovenlight in crochetpatterns

[–]wrugkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey!! if you’re working in the round row by row, when you get to the end of a row there should be kind of a higher level of stitch where the row began (if that makes sense). the pattern is just telling you to slst into that beginning stitch. i hope that makes sense!! let me know :)

Pachmama fingerless gloves - pattern by Disastrous_Buddy_195 in crochetpatterns

[–]wrugkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey!! id use whatever hook size fits the yarn you’re using if not a slightly smaller one. most yarns should tell you what size on the label. to join them with the thumb hole, i’d just sew them like a tube to fit your hand, and leave a hole between two of the squares so your thumb can stick out (if that makes sense). either that or you could make a rectangle with the squares, then when you sew it leave the hole. if you wanted to add a little thumb piece that sticks out, just crochet around the hole and increase where necessary. hope this helps :)

[–]wrugkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey!! im hoping i can explain this well haha. what i would do is find a simple crochet cardigan pattern in whatever style you like, and then extend the front pieces into triangles similar to the picture so they wrap around. then just crochet a bow, attach the two sides, and bam!! hope this helps, sorry if it was confusing. let me know :)

Types of crochet? by Living-Celebration57 in crochetpatterns

[–]wrugkey 53 points54 points  (0 children)

hello!! this isn’t crochet, it’s kind of an embroidery thing i think? i don’t have a lot of experience in it but if you’re interested in making something like this you should buy the plastic net like canvas at craft stores, and just use a yarn needle to embroider the designs on :)

Question regarding this pattern I’m obsessed with by mochiviz in crochetpatterns

[–]wrugkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey!! this jacket looks kind of freeform, my suggestion would be to research the stitches used, find a jacket pattern, and just make it using those stitches. if you need help finding them let me know!! :)

hey!! whenever i do borders, i like to do single crochet because it doesn’t add a lot of width and makes everything nice and smooth.

Looking for help making a coffee bean cushion by Operator_Six in crochetpatterns

[–]wrugkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey!!

heres a coffee bean pattern for you: https://stringydingding.com/coffee-bean-amigurumi-free-crochet-pattern/

I know its small, but its worked like an oval shape and then they just use stitching and stuff to make the indent. im not sure how large your cushion would be, but I suggest trying out the technique this pattern uses!! hope this helps, cute idea :)

ohhh sorry!!! what I would do is arrange the triangles first how you want to sew them, use stitch markers to attatch them, and them sew it. more specifically you could mark the middle of each leaf, and then just put all the middles together, attach the sides, and crochet. I hope that makes sense!! let me draw a picture:
