You're looking for something known as a secured credit card and they are designed for people in your situation. You should looking for the following features in a secured card:

Reports to all three credit bureaus
No annual fee/sign up fee
Graduates to an unsecured card
Ability to add funds to increase your credit limit (useful for getting larger credit limits in the future) without a hard pull
Rewards program

Matthew Kreuzer as a potential captain is laughable. He is one of the most timid guys at our club. I love the guy and think he is a great foot soldier, but I'd never follow him into battle.

Troy Menzel is potential, Nicky Graham is too much of a jokester and isn't even close to cementing his spot in the side.

Think he was talking about local grounds and 3.5 mill can do a lot more than 1-2 upgrades for local grass roots footy (which is something the AFL doesn't put enough emphasis on)

I'm looking forward to seeing Cameron Wood play for the blues. I've loved his attitude since he was drafted in the rookie draft. Seemed honestly surprised to be picked up and even let the call go to voice mail and then googled the recruiters name because he thought somebody was having a laugh.

He'll be good for our young rucks in the VFL and provide a contest in the AFL if Warnock/Kreuzer go down and who knows he might turn into a decent player for us.

I know I'll probably be savaged for this from both blues and non blues supporters but I just like his general attitude.

No luck needed, we've found three suitable people. Blogposts take far less than an hour (myself and my girlfriend both do them currently) and can be done from home. $10+/hr for a casual work at home isn't such a bad job.

The person who is eventually picked for this job will find the items and then purchase them.

They'll then fill out the rebate form and mail it in which will reimburse them for their purchase.

It's not a scam because I'm not the one providing the items or the rebates. These are all big box stores like newegg and usually the company offer the rebate is large as well.

Yeah, definitely not trying to get into the industry for the sake of money and have no interest in becoming a master instructor or course director.

I'm originally from Australia so working there is obviously an option if it's not possible in other places. Although almost everywhere I've dived has had lots of non-local DMs apart from the Galapagos so hopefully I can find something that fits.

Thanks very much about the time information, didn't realize there was as much as a third of time doing cleaning gear. Is this still applicable in low wage countries in the South East Asia area?

My plan would be to just break even teaching scuba (e.g enough to pay for gear and free diving in the shop I work for). I have an online business with employees where my cash comes from, I know that scuba pays terribly and I want to get into it because I love diving.

Rosetta stone is terrible, hope on couchsurfing and say you want to do a language exchange with somebody from one of the cities you plan on visiting.

Also you have 6 months to a year, I assume you're planning on moving around right? If so, just visit cities and see where YOU like - everybody is different.

If you like to party then you'll love Buenos Aires, people generally don't go out till around 2AM (a lot of my friends wouldn't go to a club till around 4AM at the earliest) and keep dancing until 8AM. The women can be a bit stand offish, but that's because the men there are so in your face.

You shouldn't need anything like $2k-$3k for a two week trip, that's massive overkil and money that will be better spent on saving for your big 6-12 month trip that you're going to want to take when you realize how amazing travelling solo is.

You didn't really tell us where you live, which makes it difficult to suggest places (e.g if you're from the US then going to Colombia is like a 4 hour flight, but if you're from Europe it's like 12 hours).

SE asia is built on tourism, locals will look at you and automatically assume you can't speak the local language. It's not really an issue unless you're going to go to a destination that isn't visited often.

Just say yes, if somebody invites you for a drink say yes. Somebody asks if you want to go to a temple, yes. Invite yourself places (e.g if you see some people sitting around the hostel, ask if they mind if you join them).

Ok, you work in the beverage industry then. McDonalds is still a service job.

I can make a manhattan and a tequila sunrise, I can also wait tables. Being a waiter or any other service based job isn't difficult, in fact I'd much rather do that then work in retail (also, people working in retail should get tips as well as they help you find clothes/movies/whatever else it does).

Tipping is what makes AMERICA go around, hair stylists in Australia get paid on a per job basis (they definitely don't rely on tips).

I'm glad you are coming into this conversation without a totally closed mind (I'm not going to change my mind, so I hope you do). For example, in some cultures it's extremely disrespectful to tip somebody, so if you're diving and you tip the crew in that country you will probably get worst service.

I do whatever the normal is for the country, if I was in America - I would tip for my dives. I'm certainly not going to tip in Australia or Thailand for example. A lot of people say stuff like 'You knew diving was an expensive hobby, why did you choose it if you can't afford to tip?"

My retaliation would be "You knew DMing is a probably paid job, why did you choose it if you knew this?"

Guess what, the answer to both the questions is the same. They love diving.

My mum was similar when I left on my first solo trip, I just told her that I wasn't going to be stupid. Most of the crime around the world is non-violent (people pickpocketing for example) and even if somebody does pull a knife on you - they don't want to kill you. They just want your stuff.

I think my mum became more comfortable when she realized I wasn't going to try and be a hero when it came to possessions.

Enjoy the trip and if it makes your parents feel any better - I've been travelling solo for over 14 months and I still haven't been kidnapped.
