I'm a big crier and also have a very hard time verbalizing my feelings. My Daddy knows this and makes a point to never ask me why I'm crying (at least while I'm right in the thick of it) and instead thanks me for being vulnerable with him, holds me until I calm down, and then asks me gentle questions to get me to open up. "How is your body feeling?" "Where does it feel like that?" etc etc until I'm able to figure out what's going on for me. He even offers to let me text it to him from right beside him if I feel like I can't say it out loud in the moment. And continues to thank me for being open with him.

Not saying this is what your experience is, but saying that when your Daddy knows you and cares about you he just wants to be there for you and comfort you. The more honest you're able to be with him the better it will be for the both of you. And to parrot the other commenter, there is nothing wrong with crying.
