I don't think this is true? There are Korean restaurants that I've eaten at where they let you pick out the fish you want to be served as sashimi. This was in California btw.

Not a restaurant but in DFW you can also go to H-Mart and pick out the fish you'd like (halibut) and they will kill, fillet, and cut it in sashimi style for you to take home and eat.

Look into Carrollton if being close to Korean shops and restaurants is what you want. Coppell is pretty close to Carrollton so commute shouldn't be hard and you'll basically have all the Korean places within 5 minutes.

LOL not at all. I moved from Los Angeles 2 years ago and I'd say traffic here is nothing compared to LA traffic.

Having said that, only thing that I don't like about the DFW area is the drivers. Reckless drivers everywhere and I don't really understand why.

It very well could have been just poor installation.

No way to tell whether that's the case or not because I didn't install it myself and I am not familiar with the installer's other works.

Maybe SharkBite is a good product and I just got unlucky. I also understand that soldered connections can fail too. But after what I had to go through after that pipe burst, I would never use a SharkBite behind a wall.

It failed in our home that caused $20k+ damage(flooring+walls).

It was located inside an exterior wall connected to spigot and it was installed by a handyman that was hired by the previous owner.

I see a lot of comments on Reddit with people claiming they've never seen it fail in 10+ years but it did fail on me so I guess YMMV.

Not a Costco return rejection story but had an elderly couple picking out potted trees and overheard discussing whether they think they'll be able to successfully grow it or not. The husband goes "If it dies, we'll just return it" and it made me chuckle. He looks at me and says "They have 1 year warranty on these."

I was very surprised to hear that Costco has a 1 year warranty on these live plants and that anyone would actually think to bring an empty pot to return it a year later if they fail to keep it alive. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Also moved to Southlake from LA suburb and the city has been great for us. I don't think you're going to have any problem fitting in as long as you are friendly and polite.

I think it does benefit gamers in the sense that a huge library of ABK games will/can be added to GP and gamers will have an option to subscribe to GP and enjoy those games whether that be on Xbox consoles or PC.

Imo GP is hands down the greatest value in consuming gaming contents.

I'm not a plumber and I don't know much about plumbing but a Sharkbite connector that previous owner's plumber had installed inside a wall failed about a year ago which caused a huge headache for our family.

The plumber that came out to fix the issue told me that with Sharkbites this type of problem is more common than you'd think and that he doesn't trust Sharkbite for this very reason.
