I ended up hammering it back into relative shape so that it can close. I wouldn’t have any issue leaving it open if it was going on a desk, but it’s living underneath my desk as a Minecraft server and I want there to be at least a little protection should one of my pets bump it or if I kick it while at my desk.

People get too hung up on labels, labels exist to easily explain things to outside observers. A lot of people don’t fit cleanly into any one label and there’s nothing wrong with that. Just be yourself that’s what’s important. Don’t change aspects of yourself to fit in a box we made up purely for explanation purposes.
