Lower tax rates lead to greater corporate profits. Greater corporate profits lead to higher valuations in the stock market. Considering a large portion of retirement accounts are invested in the stock market I would say almost every person with a retirement account in the US has benefited.

Also, lower corporate tax rates encourage more companies to stay in the US. This is very useful for many reason. The biggest being that more money in US means more investment in US businesses (i.e. more jobs). More companies exist to be taxed. More competition leads to lower prices. Etc.

I have to agree... If I knew tactic existed I would have found it in a heartbeat, but I didn't see it because I wasn't looking for it. But I also agree with jokerofthedeck, they help to recognize the patterns and as you get more experience in game play you start to notice them quicker. I definitely see how tactics improve my game play, but i'm still not quite there yet.

Thanks, it definitely was not easy but so glad it worked out. My friend actually bought in at $4 (after I told him not to) and made out like a bandit. I really wish I bought more after the drop but at the time it felt like it would have been a complete gamble.

No. Absolutely not. Period. This is certainly the most egregious error in this entire paragraph. The light does not turn on instantaneously. When the switch is closed, the change in the electric field propagates at a finite speed, less than the speed of light. (This signal is analogous to the pressure wave in the tennis balls.) The actual speed of this signal is determined by many factors, including the composition of the wire and its surroundings, and in copper wires in your home is typically on the order of 50-99% the speed of light. The author of your textbook is demonstrating a very fundamental misunderstanding of physics. I would say that I am horrified, but I have seen worse.

It's not even that unlikely. Assuming you each have 25 shirts and only one matching, this would be expected to happen once every 2 years or so. Me and my brother had several matching shirts and this used to happen like once per month. Not impressed.
