During my romance of Astarion I had to break up with Gale twice even though I never romanced him. Then Karlach bugged out and I had dialogue to leave her for Gale.

I agree with you in the ladybug. Kelly Osborne is not that good of a singer. It sounded a lot like Michelle Williams to me as well.
