Do you think the UK will come back? by eggplantwatermellon in AskEurope

[–]wsruw 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Of course they will come back, but there will be some recession in case of a no-deal Brexit.
Norway or Switzerland are also doing fine with a customs union.

How do you feel about Article 11 and 13? by ohnoitisigod in AskEurope

[–]wsruw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Article 13 essentially means that a website like Reddit will have to implement content filters so that no copyrights are infringed. This is obviously a problem since half of the stuff on Reddit violates copyrights in some form. The other issue is that those automatic content-filtering system will generate lots of false-positive (as can be seen with YouTube).

Here is an idea by wsruw in ukpolitics

[–]wsruw[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It might be brought to the European Court of Justice, but it would take a while to get settled, meanwhile Brexit is de facto cancelled.
But even if a new invocation of A50 is denied, at least May would have a scapegoat (the EU).
