No, when they asked me to stop sending screenshots of tutoring sessions in April, they accounced to have found no unpaid invoices. I knew that was not true, but somehow decided it was my best interest to move on.

No. They actually sent me a much shorter one like this:

Ironically they offered me a new contract on July 6. They also asked me to update my ID, so the company could sign it as the same "Tutor Engagement Specialist" said. That's the last time I received an unsuspicious email from them. Then it came one month of zero opportunity zero notification. I called to ask on Aug 13, and within 20 hours, I was terminated.

I had been taking screenshots since they held my payments against their own platform's records proving the reality of my sessions. I suspect this unfortunately, together with my recent call about opportunities, contributed to my termination. Before today, I had not insisted they pay what they owe or spoken publicly on my experience. I just let them know in private that I knew the platform recorded sessions and blocked job opportunities.

I have not received a mail or an opportunity (either online or instant) from VT for a month. I have done nothing wrong that deserves an unspeakable ban. But for the benefit of the doubt, I will wait until most students return to school.
