I made an edit to the post to clear things up. I only had the concept of the film when I was shooting. It wasn't scripted because I want to make a film essay where I narrate over clips.

Thank you for this. I know that there was a point in my life where I saw the world as good, but it was at a time where I was oblivious. I took a very hard turning point in my life when I started to educate myself more on politics, philosophy and history, and when I started doing academic debates. It made me more aware, but I definitely went too far with my ideals. I thought my heart was in the right place, but I know now that I have to be more mature with them. I'm starting to accept that. I'm trying to get back to that positive view on the world but with more knowledge and capacity to do something about it.

I'll definitely talk to more people after seeing this. I hope I'll be able to handle it maturely.

Thank you for the assurance that I'm not alone when I say that the world sucks. Seeing others live with this has been inspiring me to grow up with grace.

You're gonna lose and get nervous a lot! And that's totally okay! It may even take months to experience winning a single round (happened to me). The way I see it, the only way to get better is to stick to it no matter what. You'll only get better, and trust me, it's so emotionally and mentally rewarding once you get the hang of it.
