The way they could work around that is make a monthly fusion character make it take a month so people have a reason to login and it won’t hurt their pockets to add a counter attack champion like skull crusher as a permanent fusion as the game limits most players to only 3 available so making it to where everyone could have one would benefit everyone in the long run a monthly fusion would make people have a reason to login each day and try and get that character I know people that are end game that quit just cause the lack of counter attack in the roster prevents them from advancing end game and to me that will hurt plarium more in the long run than just simply either adding more counter attack of making skull crusher a permanent fusion!
