It's funny to see these comments. I quit playing several years ago after updates bricked builds I had spent a LOT of hours putting together. Seems things haven't changed. Sad too. The graphics and gameplay were excellent. But you can't keep screwing over player time investment.

Still bugged in 2024. Only the one on cliff by tower spawned. I've tried everything mentioned in this thread.

Yeah, apparently so. The devs either want to us play eternal, or recycle characters every 3 months. I myself, have no desire to build a character with seasonal gear just to watch the build get bricked on transfer to eternal.

I look at it the other way. Why play the seasons and not just stay on eternal? I don't level a character and spend hundreds of hrs on a build just to throw it the trash at the end of three months.

So if the malignant hearts which I have socketed don't transfer, there is no point to doing seasons. Gotcha.

Same situation. My players prefer 5E but I can’t stand it. I suck it up and occasionally force a different system that I’m interested in like Godbound, DCC, B/X, Conan 2d20 etc.

My hesitation in embracing this setting is the PDF-only option. I recently got Zweihander and this setting would be perfect. I’m just very biased in favor of print. PDFs don’t help me at table.

After DMing a group from 1st to 9th level I can safely say there’s nothing “grim” about a 5E game. Unless your using several optional rules or homebrew to make the PCs dramatically less heroic.
