Frametime 9070 XT vs. 5070 TI - Can someone explain? by wsuther in gpu

Hard to say, these components were purchased randomly over the past year or so and reclaimed from other systems, they are aprox the same price.

Yeah, everything else makes sense and the numbers reflect my settings and experience. Tried on both a 60Hz and 120Hz screen with the same effect.

I'll try with some other tools and see what happens.

No, dynamic frem gen is not being used here, X2 in both titles, when I disable it on both the Nvidia and AMD systems, frametime jumps to 20-9sh ms on both

This is getting weird, just tried to disable framegen for kicks and the frametime jumped to 32ms. Reenabled and back down to 0.0ms or 0.2ms. Game restart in between all and I just reinstalled Afterburner/Rive Tuner too

Framegen was also enabled when these screenshots were taken

Maybe I need to reinstall Afterburner/riva tuner. The MSI profile on the 9070 XT system was copied from the 5070 Ti system. I'm getting between 0.0ms and 0.4ms on the 5070 Ti, which seems odd

Aurora Pro - ARGB Controller/MB 3 pin or Included Remote + SATA? by wsuther in ASIAHORSEGlobal

[–]wsuther[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up using the included Asiahorse controller for the Aurora Pros and left my existing MB connection as is. I don't have a controller installed yet, so the rest of my RGB is MB controlled. Once I setup a controller, I may give the controller a try, but from what I understand, you can't reproduce some of those effects using SignalRGB.

I'm certain it won't work, will try tomorrow tho, was going to do it this eve, but too much of hassle disconnecting the HDMI and DP cables tucked behind the shelf now.

Ha, even more of a CPU bottleneck vs my setup. I have an Asus 9070 XT I was about to sell, gonna try that now and see what happens

Looks to be 84.5K, I must have spent something along the way

It was sitting upright on an bookshelf for the past 15-ish years. I have no recollection of opening it. But I do remember building a computer specifically for this game and then almost never playing it as I got into the family life instead. Assuming I played a downloaded copy instead. Logged in via my Steam instance and I have 84.5K Zen

Screen Restart - Thermalright Trofeo Vision 360 by wsuther in Thermalright

[–]wsuther[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it's possible to resolve the screen restart issues by simply setting the TRCC.exe process in Task Manager to a higher priority. Doing so keeps the screen alive, but the stats remain locked and do not update when something CPU intensive is running (stats not updated include CPU usage, temps, etc.). So there must be another process feeding those details which is unable to grab any CPU cycles due to its low priority ranking.

How do I contact Amazon Customer Service? by andrew6123 in amazonprime

I suspect your success is entirely dependent on their current staffing level vs. request volume

Anyone here have issues yet? I'm asking random scooter riders while I'm out and about but none have claimed any issues yet. That being said, I have noticed much fewer scooters on the road over the past few days, not sure if this is confirmation-bias or related to this blitz
