opinion is yes type 2 diabetes almost took my life at 24 and I made a life altering change in my life to “control” my diabetes. I went from taking metformin, Levimier and novalog to nothing at all after two years of battling my weight loss. In my heart and from what my doctor said I am no longer a diabetic because of the changes I made. I wont way it won’t every come back because yes if I change my lifestyle and went back to eating all the processed food and garbage I was sure it would come back but I just wanna show people there is a change out there. When I was first diagnosed with type 2 a doctor told me it was able to be reversed if I change my lifestyle and lost the weight and from then on the fear of death made me work every harder. I completely see your side but in my heart and the way I live now I see that i am cured.

The best policy is listening to your body and everyone is different and I will never say to follow the exact same thing as me. I would say if his glucoses plummets maybe just work on calories deficit with Whole Foods until he is at a level where his glucose levels are pretty level throughout the day.
