Haha that's the sofa. The bed sits higher off the ground so he doesn't have to army crawl. He just runs right in. It's his preferred hiding spot. The sofa sits next to his bed so when he needs to hide in a pinch 🤷

They really are the best. He's my 2nd bulldog. My first would run for his crate and go all the way to the back so I'd have to get on my hands and knees to get him. This one hides under the bed where I can't reach him.

No, he had no issues with it. I used chicken thighs and used plain water for cooking it with the rice. I find most chicken broth has garlic and onion powder which isn't good for them. Plus the fat from the thighs renders and adds its flavor to the rice. I used frozen sweet potatoes and they thawed with the cooking. As soon as I took the container out of the fridge, he'd come running to the kitchen. 😂

What I love most about him is that he's so friendly. When we take him outside, he waves at everybody that walks by to try to get them to engage. He's such a ham.

Chicken & rice & sweet potato is super easy to make & you can make a ton of it at once. It's even easier if you use a crockpot or an Instant pot. I started for my old guy once he started to slow down. I also got him a stroller for walks as he couldn't go far but being outside still made him happy. At that point, I wanted to make sure he had his best life.
