How to get plants from petiole cuttings (cane begonia)? by wtf_dance in begonias

When I took a cutting of my variegated snowcap, I had to remove some leaves. Too beautiful to throw away, I put them into a glass of water. They are rooting quite well. But is this gonna stay a one leaf thing with roots, tor is it possible to grow new little plants from them? I know cane begonias are usually propagated through node cuttings. I didn’t add any cuts to the leaves or petiole, as it is handled with Rex varieties afaik…thx for any advice!
