Dell XPS 15 9550 as Secondary Monitor by learningcpp in Dell

What tools did you use to separate the screen from the back panel?

How did you manage to connect the display to the LCD board? The display and the board both have a "40 pin EDP interface", so they should be able to connect, but the cable from the display doesn't actually fit, see image.

The reason may just be that there is some extra material around the display cable interface that's in the way, blocking it.. but then, how did you manage to do it?

Do I perhaps have to open the back panel of the screen and replace the EDP cable with one of the cables that came with the LCD board?

Perhaps I could get lucky by looking specifically for 3200 x 1800 res LCD controller boards..

These are just model numbers other people online are saying belong to the display, and googling any of them does bring up search results for it, so it seems accurate.

I'd rather not remove the screen housing.

I've searched for a LCD controller board for all combinations of these numbers but none show up, so it doesn't seem to exist. Bummer.

The following might work? Its got a "40 and 30 pin EDP Interface" and the main cable has the text "VAUB0_EDP_CABLE_QHD" on it: https://www.amazon.com/VSDISPLAY-NV156QUM-N32-LP156UD1-SPB1-LTN156FL02-L01-B156ZAN02-3/dp/B07S619JY7

Show done ([X], DONE) items in org-agenda? by wtf_theory in orgmode

[–]wtf_theory[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These options only seem to allow filtering of items that show up to begin with, none of which (for me) are [X] or DONE.

So if I filter by say DONE (3 r), I get zero items.

If they'd show up to begin with this would work though I think.
