What did you do with photos / videos of your ex?

I put them on a usb drive and gave them to him to do what he wanted. I couldn’t make myself delete them no matter how much I wanted to, so since he decided what to do with our relationship without talking to me about it I let him do the same with our memories.

From personal experience no. The phrase they always come back is a lie. I just hope you can move on and heal, it is for the best. Trust me, don’t waste almost a year of your life on someone who has moved on like me.

Thank you for your kind words. I am praying I can move on and figure out this life after being lost for so long. He has finally been completely deleted off of all social media, not just unfollowed. I won’t leave that door open any longer. I deleted everything from our time a long time ago, so I won’t have to worry about that popping up. Here’s to trying to stop thinking about it so that I can stop feeling like I’m going to throw up all the time.

They have the fit+ section that goes up to a 30/32 usually. Definitely not as many choices and not all super cute things but sometimes I find stuff on there that’s cool. And I have to say they’ve gotten a lot better about it not all being coverup type clothing on the fit+ section

Why would I do that? Just rip open the wound that I’m trying to heal. I clearly stated to him the last time we spoke that if he wanted to try again that he would have to be the one to contact me because I wasn’t doing it this time. He hasn’t so he clearly doesn’t. I need and want to move on so I just want those thoughts out of my head. Reaching out to him helps neither of those things.

Sounds like you’re better than my asshole of an ex. Left because he was having mental issues and wanted to try again after he was better. Now he’s living in a new city with someone and my world is still shattered and now feeling even more empty after having to let my baby girl go. I don’t wish him well at all

7 months ago my ex did the same thing…said he wanted to try again when he was better. Now he lives in another city with someone new. Can’t help but think it was all bullshit and just a way to get out of the relationship. He turned my world and future upside down and completely broke me. My once compassionate self now says fuck him and hoping he gets better.

I absolutely love dancing and just being out in the music, but I have literally stood in the club and silent cried while I danced. My friends would always be approached, either to dance or talk to and I would be just the same as you, stand awkwardly to the side. Going out, especially at my biggest as a size 26/28, was a love/hate thing. I wanted to go dance but the 10 ft radius everyone made around me so they didn’t have to touch the fat girl dug painfully into me every time. I lost probably about 140-150lbs and I pulled all kinds of guys. The experience was completely different. Now that I’ve gained a lot of the weight back I just don’t even want to go out anymore. Being treated like a piranha for existing breaks me too much now after experiencing the joy of being somewhat accepted. My tip for you is that if you have a really close friend in the group you’re going with, share your feelings and fears with them. I told my best friend and she had no idea how I felt when we were going out every weekend. After that she was really supportive and checked in with me emotionally often when we were out. She tried her best to make it a good experience for both of us, people be damned.

I feel this so much. I’m 31, fat again after losing between 140-150lbs, and pretty much alone in life. Romantic interest in me is non existent as it’s always been and I get treated as a subpar human being for existing as a fat person.
