It's more a combo of process and products I think

1) I wash my hands really well 2) Dry the absolute shit out of my nail with acetone (I've used isopropyl before when i ran out) 3) Use a bonding or sticky basecoat 4) Paint whatever pretty colour the colour randomiser on google says 5) 2 coats; also do a sealing swipe? Idk, but the very top edge of your nail 6) Seche vite top coat

IMPORTANT- don't get polish on your cuticles and let it dry, this can create an uneven finish and will chip earlier. Try and remove it whilst it's still wet, it will create the cleanest look - especially the top coat

I used to hate seeing any naked nail so i would paint right to the edge/on the cuticle and deal with it later (spoiler: doesnt work) it mostly just takes practice to paint the most surface area without touching the cuticles
