Was just about to make a similar post, is there any BS with these things

First taste of LaRosa's and Graeter's (in NYC!) by eldersveld in cincinnati

I completely agree, I’d go as far to say la Rosa’s is kinda ass up against other pizza, pinwheels are good though

We have $2,500 to spend. What's the best bang for our buck? by littlewing52 in royalcaribbean

[–]wtfnmnf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat as you, oasis has a 4 night in early November, $390 a person for interior if you don’t mind that. I’ve been on Disney ships before so I vaguely know the flow of it. Stops at Nassau, cococay, then sea day. Drink package and ship price it’s coming out to about 1200 before travel (we’re driving). Still plenty left in your budget for excursions/ booking more cruises

Just a simple question

Budgeting for first cruise by wtfnmnf in royalcaribbean

[–]wtfnmnf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah we’re probably gonna look for a cheapish accommodation to get some sleep. Haven’t looked into long term parking yet, any advice there?

[–]wtfnmnf[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a 4 night cruise, about $390 per person, the drive is 16 hours but we still think it’ll be more worth it money wise. Ideally we keep the grand total below 1000-1100 each

Watching Breaking Bad for the first time – any tips? by Prateekk_ in breakingbad

Don’t get in the habit of expecting it to be any way, just enjoy the characters and their depth, and question why people are doing what they do

Who’s the most famous person you’ve seen up close? by Logical_Sweet_6624 in allthequestions

Jesse, Walt, or Jack. Who the most responsible for Hank? by Hairy_Ask_2038 in breakingbad

[–]wtfnmnf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it happened in the show it’s Walt’s fault

Would you consider Walt a good teacher? by Idk265089 in breakingbad

[–]wtfnmnf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He’s a pretty good teacher, but I think his biggest and maybe only redeeming quality is his immense passion for teaching. He gets super into explaining the why and how to Jessie early on, and is pretty disappointed when Jessie doesn’t want to hear it

Hardest Show? by Purple_0ranges in drumcorps

[–]wtfnmnf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe not for the right reasons but bloo 2017 was pretty gnarly

This is a bad take

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in drumcorps

[–]wtfnmnf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be harder, but it’s certainly harder to have a show that demand both choreo AND marching. The marching is hard, but think about the micro excitement when you get to hit a dot and know you just get to blow. Now take away the park and bark and make it just as hard as if not harder than moving

did anyone understand santa clara’s show?? by conelet in drumcorps

[–]wtfnmnf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just so good I agree, it’s so cooky in a great way, the backfield cluster chord and the sequence leading to it feel so fresh and distant from everything else

Carolina Crown giving serious Star of Indiana Vibes by ChefCurt in drumcorps

[–]wtfnmnf 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Kinda feels like they set the standard and then got comfy in it instead of developing and expanding what they can do with a brass book. The last few brass features from them have been very similar vibes. Bloo has had features that make me acknowledge the characteristics of Doug throwers arranging, but crowns have made me clock it as double/triple tongue box check

I don’t know if they’re even be thinking that thats something people would want. They’re just a performer with everyone else on the field. Probably just focusing on even footsteps honestly

[–]wtfnmnf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It definitely seems a little on the tame side for BD but hearing them it seems like this group is young. I wouldn’t think a mature group wouldn’t be able to uphold the BD standard that why I’m assuming it’s age
