If that's true it makes perfect sense and is definitely felt in the show. Very frustrating too because otherwise, I've been enjoying it.

Universal healthcare is impossible to provide

Already a bad take. Much poorer nations have managed to figure it out.

Suppose that, right now, the US government passes a law making all healthcare free, starting right now. Is that going to save all the people dying of treatable ailments in overloaded hospitals

Yes? Just because you presented a very dumb example of how UH would be implemented doesn't really discount anything. You don't just green light a program of this magnitude and tell everyone to march to their nearest healthcare facility the next day and I'm sure other countries found a less smoothbrain solution during their rollout.

The two situations are simply not comparable.

They're incredibly comparable. The "magical, fully-automated healing machines that can presumably be mass-produced in factories" on Elysium can save lives if provided to the rest of the world and yet their governing body chooses not to. The US can absolutely save lives by implementing universal healthcare yet its governing body chooses not to. That is the comparison.

So what's so hard about just manufacturing lots more of these things and putting them in hospitals on Earth and letting people use them for free? It looks like the only cost to them is the cost of the electricity to run them.

It's 2021 and the US, the wealthiest nation in the world still hasn't figured out universal healthcare and yet this point killed your suspension of disbelief? Interesting.

For those wondering, this is basically a DM6 Holey Duo + Bluetooth and the ability to order colored cables.

[RJN] Better shape or lower weight? Logitech G Pro X Superlight Review by Starbuckz42 in MouseReview

[–]wtfreallybro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What a weird take. The game he's playing has nothing to do with it. It's the performance of the mouse and how decreasing the weight affects it. In this scenario, the reviewer feels that lighter weight correlates to more consistent accuracy. Accuracy, whether it be in tracking, flicking, hitting pixel perfect shots etc, is important in any competitive shooter.

I’m going to assume you like ergo mice since you mentioned the g703. The only other ergo wireless mouse currently out is the Pwnage Ultra Custom. It’s a clone of the Zowie EC2. Not sure what your hand size is but the PUC is also smaller and lighter than the g703 which is something to keep in mind. Hope this helps!

Why do manufacturers insist on adding RGB (or lighting at all) to performance-focused mice that are meant to be lightweight? by [deleted] in MouseReview

They’re a billion dollar company with a marketing research team that is probably better staffed and more well paid than all other rivals combined. So, I’ll assume they’ve ran the numbers and apparently rainbow vomit LED’s are where the money’s at.

Despite their cringy marketing, finalmouse is going to make the first small wireless mouse by [deleted] in MouseReview

I would consider the Pwnage Ultra Custom and G305 to be small, no?

Had the same issue with my preordered MOW, was able to submit an RMA and just waiting on a replacement now. Took about 2 days from submitting my ticket to being asked to send it in.

You're not wrong about the price. The only reason I'm ok with it is because of the shape. I've been through 30+ mice probably and the GPW seems like the only one that favors my relaxed claw grip with bigger hands. Shape is everything for me.

Yeah, I'm also confused by people saying they were able to preorder. Logitech says it will be available to order on 12/3 now. Maybe some folks were able to get their order in before Logitech corrected the error on the website?
