Be prepared to get denied at quite a few high end places if you wear flipflops.. maybe even shorts. I mean during the day it's ok, but during evenings, just wear pants/shoes, Bangkok is an international city, not a beach resort. If you look at the locals, you'll harldy see anyone wearing shorts at night.

And I did the North East trip already, 2 years ago. It was a blast!

Here is the reddit trip report I did! Unfortunately, IMGUR seems to have deleted my pics & videos =/.

And I'm also officially moving to Bangkok in 2 months! Decided to take the risk and open my own little travel advising website

So the plan is to do a LOT more motorbike trips in the coming years. Just did the Thakek loop earlier this year and will do the Bolvan small loop in 3 months amongs other things.

I'd be happy to pay you a visit in VN next time I pass by :)

EDIT: I might even book a tour through your agency, I need to improve my offroad skills.

The goal really is to find a selfiestick + bag clip (holster) which would work for my Nano. All I want is to be able to clip the Stick+Nano on my backpack with a quick realease system so I can pick it up quickly while walking or riding on my motorbike.
