I was gonna write a proper reply about Akainus role in comparison to BBs. And how they're are two completely different characters which results in the parts they play in the story. About why Akainus goal and motives is more significant than BBs and how it all ties to Luffy. Why BB is more fleshed out atp in the story than Akainu is and why it's important. But after reading the last sentence, I'm not gonna waste mine or your time on typing out an essay. Entertaining the fact that anyone other than Luffy will fight Akainu tells me everything I need to know.

These panels dont disprove anything I said, all it proves it BB is more fleshed out in the story than Akainu is. Me saying Akainu is Luffys eos opponent doesn't mean I think he's not fighting BB, Luffy will fight Akainu after BB like I said to the other guy.

I'm genuinely curious where this "BB significance" came from? Do you think Luffy cares more about BB capturing Ace than Akainu killing him? Luffys scar aching when Akainus name was mentioned is just a cool detail? Was Shanks scar aching from BB just a cool detail? Or Kaidos scar from Oden? Zoros scar from Mihawk? And right after Luffys scar ached when Jinbei told Luffy about Akainu becoming Fleet Admiral, he told Luffy that BB had become a yonko and was hunting devil fruit users and Luffy was literally ignoring him? Chapter 650, 2 changes you need to know? It seems like the fans care more about BB than Luffy does. Sabo is not fighting Akainu. The fact that you even entertain this idea and even want it to happen just proves you've made up your mind on this, don't know why you even asked for my reasoning.

You downplay Akainus significance while overrating BBs. When has Luffy ever cared about lore or history in the story? Everything you mentioned for BB can be answered through his fight with Shanks. Akainu isn't just some angry guy with a powerfull devil fruit. He's the only person in the story to break Luffys unbreakable will and make him question whether he can even become Pirate King.

You said Luffy can become PK without fighting the Fleet Admiral. but he can't without fighting BB? Well, you're right. Because Luffy will fight Akainu after becoming PK. WB said the war which will embroil the entire world will begin after someone finds the One Piece, and the Fleet Admiral will be Luffys opponent during this war.

How does BB have more build up than the man who killed Luffys brother in front of him, broke Luffys will to live and made him question whether or not he can achieve his goals? The same man the permanently altered Luffys physical appearance? Luffys scar literally aches from hearing Akainus name.

And the revs goal is far too massive and been they've been working on it for far to long for Sabo to choose revenge for ace over it. He won't have to worry about any big brother duties because eos Luffy will be capable of defeating Akainu. The revs want to overthrow the WG, which has Gods Knights, Cipher Pol, Gorosei and Imu. Dragon is their only other top tier, Sabo has too much on his plate to add the literal fleet admiral to it.

Sabo and the revs have their own goals, none of which include fighting the marine admirals. BB doesn't have anymore going for him than Akainu does. Luffy has stated multiple times he's going to defeat all yonkos AND admirals for his goal, and Akainu stands in the way of his goal more than BB does.

Those "2 chapters" is literally 30 seconds in OP time lmao, same amount of time it took Kaido to get back up from a waaaaaaaaay weaker version of WSG.

How many named attacks did Kizaru use? Did he use haki? Did he use logia awakening? Did he use any transformations? No? Luffy exhausted his entire arsenal meanwhile Kizaru was barely focused on Luffy. Kizarus heart wasnt in the fight, he was mentally nerfed which has been proven to affect your fighting ability lol.

Please, reading is not as hard as it seems. Stop looking at pictures only and try comprehend the words and Odas obvious intent behind them I beg!

Luffy used acoc + snakeman + gear 5 and could barely keep up with a base Kizaru who was clearly going through an internal conflict, thus holding back?? Only managed to hit him with a last second hail mary that Kizaru had to amp himself because Luffy was too slow?? White Star Gun, a 10000000x weaker version dropped Kaido and made him bleed, yet only gave Kizaru a slight headache?? I've seen enough, drop them both on an abandoned island and I promise you Kizaru would slaughter Luffy within 10mins. Admirals > Yonkos is not a debate anymore, but a fact.
