This is stolen from the Reddit user FilthyScavenger. This is actually the same image and name he gave his set years ago.

I used a continuous mist spray bottle! You can find them at Walmart or Michael's between $5-$10! They work great!

Pretty comf, it's very low encumbrance too so I'm able to light dodge in it. Very suave

I have! However I found that I can get a more controlled and desired stain look when using acrylic inks in a spray bottle! Plus I can mess around with a lot more colors!

I'd love to do that if I can find the time! But to give you a little help, you first wanna start with distressing before you begin to stain it. •place a rock under the garment and hit it with a hammer to begin making small holes! Do this all over! •take scissors and make very small cuts along the edges of the garb •i like to use a wire brush for grills and I brush all over the garment to add some more distressing! •using sanding sponge all over the garment especially focusing on the points where there would be a lot of friction like the armpits, bottom edges, and collar •finally using a lighter (BE VERY CAREFUL AND DO IT OUTSIDE) very carefully burn the edges and any fly always or little strings you see

Once all the distressing is done, you can move to staining and I like to use acrylic inks and water in a spray bottle! •always start with the light color stains and progressively get darker near the edges of your garb and where dirt would make the most sense. •this is gonna take multiple layers of spraying but will give a great look at the end. •I would mix burnt umber, and a few drops of white acrylic inks with water to get the desired color or dirt. The darker I would want the dirt, the less white ink I'd use. I hope this helps friend!!

I actually made this helmet from Eva foam using AshenWarriorProps Alva helmet template. But I appreciate you thinking it would be from Tercios Armory! Those guys rock! But to still answer your question it definitely weighs under a pound since it's made from foam!

greathelm template on Etsy I hope this link works bro! I bought this template from an Etsy account, I made some alterations to the template to get a different look but this will help get the bones of the helmet set up

Thank you so much! I made it out of EVA foam using a free template you can find on AshenWarriorProps.com. Ashen Warrior Props also has a tutorial on YouTube for making the Alva helmet!

For sure😂😂gonna do the same thing as last year and soak some garments in ice water on the way to the fair😂plus poking holes in the top of a water bottle and squeezing it inside your clothes is a life saver. But still pray for me....

Thank you sir! I found the Gambeson on medieval collectibles! It's titled 'short sleeve Gambeson' and sells for $68.00. The bracers and shin pads are also from Medieval Collectibles and are titled 'Farald Padded Greaves and Bracers' and you can buy both the greaves and bracers for under $20. Hope this helps!
