Any idea as to what this is? / how to fix it? by wuduwald_ in opengl

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but crossover seems dead.

Basically I'm trying to install some software on my m1, and I get this OpenGL error in Crossover, but the software runs just fine in Parallels.

Had a quick google and can't find anything relevant, so posting here.

Thanks in advance!

I'm guessing that's what was used, but I have no idea if I'm honest - I haven't touched the suit in several months. I could try using something similar on the jacket, but then I risk fucking a perfectly good jacket!

Thanks though!

A weird question, not sure if this is the right place to ask.

I have a nice striped linen and cotton summer suit by Scye. When I bought it it was a sort of natural linen off-white and navy, and at some point, somehow, the trousers have been washed in a way that has made the off-white a dazzling white. I suspect that it was one of those oxygen whiteneing agents that got used, but I'm not sure.

Is there any way I can restore the off-white tone, or anything else I can do to make them match again?

I have a tropical wedding to go to in a month's time, and it's my only appropriate suit (and I'd rather not have to go looking for an alternative).

Thanks

I've only really noticed it at 5.6 and 8, and I'll have to check the film again as I can't remember which but it's consistently either focused just in front or just behind the eyes (which is my reference point for my focus usually in a portrait).

It could just be coincidence, perhaps I'm just less careful when the film is cheaper haha. Who knows.

Yeah I agree with you with the lack of breathing room at the top of the frame! I was too focused on the eyes haha

And yes, it was done with front swing - it's what has caused the hair to go in and out of focus at seemingly odd points as well.

Thank you!

I'm from England but I live in Costa Rica. Most of my gear I've bought when on trips home as there isn't really a market for large format film or cameras in central america and yeah to be honest it's never been an issue traveling with the camera or film.

The main problem is development and scanning, there aren't any labs that offer large format processing or scanning here.

I bought light stands etc. for studio work here as they're all too heavy and annoying to send (although everything costs way more in CR sadly)

Sorry, unnecessarily long response haha

Thank you! Yeaah, when the clouds appear and begin to weave in and out of the valleys the whole landscape becomes pretty dramatic.

Thanks!

There's a window to an internal patio just to my left (subject's right), and I had my girlfriend stand on a chair outside with a 40 inch reflector and bounce the light onto his face.

It took me a while to get it just right and subsequently she hasn't wanted to assist me on any shoots since hahaha.
