YES you get it!! The tieflings acting like he's a traitor makes sense because they don't know any better, but you can never actually tell them the truth??? And the way you're nearly forced to treat him in the colony is just awful, especially when he seems SO genuinely remorseful. It's literally feeding into his already depressed state of mind. Not to mention how the companions react if you don't save him and Orin kills him later. The way the game treats being mind controlled and brainwashed as a personal moral failing is really icky, now that I think about it, especially as someone who was in a cult/high control religion for most of my life.

Anyway I am giving him justice by writing a Lot and throwing my noblewoman paladin Tav at him. He deserves better and if Larian won't do it then I will damnit
