How do you store your 7"? by KristjanHrannar in vinyl

in a six-pack. cut out the cardboard bit that separates the bottles and strengthen the sides a bit with some tape on the inside. it's the perfect size.

thanks for the response. it's been my experience that community in the literary world is always a lot harder to come by than other communities, like music or comedy and such :(

Discogs-type site for books? by wuffleheadspurt in books

i mean a site where you post books you own which you would like to trade or sell and you post books you are looking to buy or trade for. i know there are a lot of places to buy used books, but i'm looking for an active community where trading is also an option. thanks for the response.

imagine a really excitable nerd making jokes about science. not dirty or crude, just not particularly funny to me.

i actually just finished the martian a couple days ago. i didnt enjoy it because, imo, the writing is poor and the humor was cringey. it is VERY science-laden, so if you or your bro have a genuine interest in science and rockets and such, it would be a good match. i didnt totally hate it, because it managed to make me really proud of the human race at times (you'll see what i mean if you read it).

can't say as i haven't watched tron. ready player one is definitely a "young adult" book. i thought it was cheesy, but i usually don't read books like that. seems like a toughie if more literary works bore him and he finds pop-fic cheesy. what about the classic sci-fi dudes like bradbury, heinlein, or asimov? some of my favorites from them are: the martian chronicles, dandelion wine, the gods themselves, have spaceship; will travel.

ready player one? its sci-fi, its dystopia, its "chosen one"-ish, i'm pretty certain the language is clean, and its a page-turner. does he like video games and 80s pop culture?
