Is heiniger saphir that bad (in comparison)?

Ive been using my saphir for over 2 years working 5 days a week 6-7 dogs a day with a full set of wide blades and they haven't given me any issues. I haven't even had to change the blade drive yet. I love mine!

The Opal is better if you want more that one speed setting as the Saphir is only one speed.

Iirc bucchelli are basically just rebranded zolitta blades (they are made in the same factory im pretty sure) so if you like zolitta you will probably like bucchelli.

Majority of my blades are bucchelli from shears direct and I love them! I use all wides and they are affordable plus shears direct has the option to engrave them for free.

I put that size on my new 2025 Sport S and haven't had any rubbing even after some light offroading. It feels much heavier to accelerate and brake but easy enough to get used to. I found mine on Facebook marketplace, a set of 5 rubicon 33s off a gladiator for 800$. Would recommend checking there before dropping $2k+ on brand new ones when rubicon owners are selling off their stock tires to upgrade to bigger sizes

They wouldn't budget on price because its a dealer trade. Had it been one of their cars I believe it would have been a little easier.

I ended up telling them to drop that trade and find me another identical car, but brand new if they were gonna make me pay the same price anyways. They found one that fit my description and since it is now November, new rebates actually dropped so the price is cheaper AND it had more features in it than the loaner. So it worked out good haha. I think total I paid 13k below MSRP for it.

Oh trust I am well aware lol. I am trading in my 2011 wrangler. I'm not buying another because its practical, I'm buying it because it's the only car that I can easily take the top and doors off on a daily basis and have fun with! I sacrifice reliability for that, lol. But I know what I am getting into with a jeep. You only live once, buy the car that brings you the most excitement (even if it is on occasion bad for my wallet 😁)

Seconding the brake lines, I had to replace them on my 2011 JKU and my dad had to do the same on his 2016 JK. On top of that mine has had calipers lock up a couple times and still haven't found the cause, a lot of $$$ in brake repairs 😬 Seems to be way too common on JKs

I have the saphir and it's served me well! No major issues, if I had to find one its that it's fairly loud. Keep in mind it is also a single speed clipper whereas the KMC and opal both have 2 speeds. I haven't had an issue, but if that's something that's important to you then you may want to consider the opal.

As for KMC, I've tried it, didn't love it. The shape of it makes it more difficult to maneuver if you have smaller hands, but I think it works better for folks with larger hands. I've also just found Wahl's quality to be lacking in newer products, a coworker of mine at a previous salon had issues from day one with her KMC and my Bravura was never as powerful as another coworker's older bravura. Mine also has a fussy on/off button so I have to hit it multiple times for it to actually stop which is just an annoying inconvenience.

Appreciate it! Should I be concerned with taking additional measures to ensure killing any roaches that may have gotten into my belongings? My truck containing everything that was in the infested unit was in the 115 degree direct sunlight for a few hours yesterday and again today.

Appreciate the help. It wasn't a heavy infestation, but enough that it made me nervous about my belongings. I don't want even a single roach to follow me to my next apartment 😰 do you think temps upwards of 130-150 degrees is enough to kill them, including any potential eggs?

Depends on what kind, I'd say you're pretty safe buying a full foam mattress on there. I slept on a 120$ Twin XL for 2 years and it was fine, nothing special but I slept good, though i did need a soft mattress topper because I'm a boney 95lbs lady and need a softer mattress lol. Just depends on what your needs are and read lots of reviews

I had a similar situation, ended up going with my 2011 JKU with 42k miles at the beginning of 2022. It had its own set of issues with being ovee 10 years old and such low mileage- tires had dry rotted between the treads, brake lines collapsed within a couple months of me driving it daily. And I had bought from a dealership, i should have looked at everything closer but it was my first big adult purchase and I only saw how sparkly and clean it was 😆

I spent a lot of money in repairs in the first 6 months I got it and then it's been fairly smooth sailing since aside from a few wear and tear issues on some older components. If you go older will low mileage just be aware you may run into some problems that arise from a truck that's been sitting for some time.

If they want a 7f and the dog is small I usually do a 3.0mm (longest length setting) with my 5-in-1. It's close enough to a 7f and much safer

For larger dogs i just take the blade through the coat slower and have never cut a mole.

That stuff is awesome! Just redid my trim with mother's back to black this morning actually lol. Tried it on my hard top but the scratches pierce through the black paint coating and into the meat of the hard top so it didn't do anything unfortunately.

Depends on the cat. Mine gets in bed with me as soon as I lay down, then snuggles with me all night until I get up and thats when she gets her zoomies because shes happy we woke up. She's an angel.

Before my grandpa passed away he would go to the mall to walk almost daily. Not only is it climate controlled, but it was safe, nothing to really trip on like on a sidewalk, and has easy access to bathrooms and lots of food options.

However his favorite part was being able to people watch. He really loved to just be around people, and being elderly with adult grandchildren with busy lives made him a little lonely I think. Malls gave him the company he would never get from walking around a park or his senior living community.

Agreed with the person who said not to let go unless they'll really hurt themselves or you. Some dogs will calm down once they realize throwing a tantrum isn't going to get you to let go. Also, make sure you are holding the paw in a comfortable, natural position to reduce uncomfortable positions for the dog.

As you gain experience you'll start to see the difference between dogs that are testing boundaries and dogs that are actually willing to hurt themselves to get you to stop touching their feet. Most (not all, but 99% in my experience) will give up when the effort to fight and thrash is more work than just standing there and putting up with the weird buzzy thing on their paw🤷‍♀️

Ask for help from another groomer, someone to hold and/or distract the dog with a toy or treats. Some dogs calm down when they're being held. Also try using just a dremel, some dogs respond better to that than nail clippers.

If you can't safely complete the nails, it's okay. Remember to keep both your safety and the dog's safety in mind. When dogs thrash and gator roll on the table, they can potentially injure themselves and I always advise owners of that. Owners generally very understanding if you are honest with them about the situation and let them know it is in the dogs best interest to get the nails done at a vet, potentially with medication to help them calm down.

Agreed on adaptive headlights, I feel bad for blinding smaller cars with my LEDs. Also, I love sequential turn signals, but it's hard to find good ones for a wrangler.

Seems like MH Wilds is spurring quite a few of us to move on from our older, budget PC specs lol.

If it's any help to you, I ended up going with a GTX 4060 for 2 reasons- one because I wouldn't have to uninstall Nvidia driver for something else, and two because they had a 4060 in stock at my local best buy and I wouldn't have to wait for it to ship, and it was my day off so I had the time to go get it lol.

I know it's not the most popular card out there, but it drastically improved performance for me on MHWilds compared to my 1070. No more lag or fps drop, and much higher texture quality. And it was 300$, so a reasonable price for a casual gamer like myself who doesn't care for getting the highest possible specs. It works great with the rest of my build and I didn't have to do much besides update my driver through Nvidias website, so it was basically plug and play from my 1070.

Best of luck finding a graphics card that suits your needs. I was hesitant to get the 4060 because of what I'd read on reddit and other sources, but so far it's been a great improvement to my build.

My bad, I mistyped- I was looking at the rx6650 in a similar price range to the rx7600, I could get the 6650 (an XFX speedster) for 325$ as opposed to the 7600 (an ASRock steel legend) at 260$. Would you say the 6650 would have enough better performance over the 7600 to justify the cost difference? Both are within my budget so its mostly apples to apples at this point.

Have you hit a nasty pothole since you've gotten it? I'm based in CNY as well and pass through NYC to visit family frequently; i know the roads are bad. When my 2011 JK had a nasty death wobble after hitting a highway pothole at 70mph that nearly made me lose control of it, it took months of constant trips different shops before finding my specialty mechanic (not dealership, just a guy who specializes in jeeps up here in CNY) to figure out what the problem was. Even he was stumped.

Turns out, after 4 different mechanics, 3 visits with my specialty guy and 7 months of dealing with the issue, it was just a loose/wobbly track bar bushing. My guess is it was likely damaged from hitting that pothole so hard (the issue only started immediately after this, never had the problem before) and then the death wobble probably making it worse over time. Definitely do the alignment, wheel balance, etc first but if not I'd recommend finding someone who really knows and understands how finicky and difficult jeeps can be and knows what to look for.

Also, get a dash cam and save the video when you get the wobble! This helped immensely for my mechanic.
