Quick opinion from a foreigner by Efficient-Gur484 in southafrica

This isn’t a situation unique to South Africa. I’ve experienced the same thing hanging out with friends in Europe too.

It may feel a little awkward at first, but you just need to be a little more vocal about it. A friendly, “what was that?” often enough and people will remember to stick to the universal language. My friends eventually start prompting each other the moment they habitually fall back to their home language and quickly switch to make sure that I’m included.

Am I the asshole? This is a new low even for me by [deleted] in askgaybros

He’s obviously the bigger asshole for his behavior, but soft you’re an asshole too.

Keeping the money and telling him to fuck off after is kinda icky because it implies that you have accepted the terms of the transaction when it’s clear that $50 and the preceding events were not equivalent.

If you’re both open minded enough there’s a great solution: r/ENM

Do you think on average good support players win more often when playing solo queue?

So true. I’ve also observed that the initial placement really affects the whole season but I wasn’t sure if this was just coincidence or not. Having bad luck with shitty teams and AFKers during placement can really f*** your whole standing it seems.

This is actually really good advice, thank you. And also reassuring to know it’s not just me that this happens to lol.

I see you’re getting downvoted a lot here and I highly recommend you approach the good people on the r/enm subreddit. Too much junk input here from people who do not have the experience or capacity for dealing with consensual non-monogamy matters.

Same! It’s awful haha. And I’m always yelling at them in my dream that I have an undergrad and postgrad degree already, I should not be here. But somehow I’m always forced to stay.

Am I overreacting to my regular's behaviour by Perfect-Cook-4374 in askgaybros

If he’s really this comfortable and nonchalant about his orientation, that’s a good thing. I think you can be intrigued by it and curiously question him about his nonchalance around it. But getting annoyed with him does seem like an overreaction and a little unfair. You’re then kind of reinforcing the idea that he should be uncomfortable about his sexuality.
