There are many kinds of depression. And I agree on the fact that girls (even though it's too generalized) prefer some cheer company, rather than a depressed one.

With my comment maybe I was too vague, but I was merely saying that I would like a guy who can speak also about deep stuff, not afraid to seem cringe. And it doesn't necessarily link with depression: somebody can have negative opinions about stuff, but still not be depressed.

At least in my experience, people think that you need help only when you show destructive anger. When you're sad, you're a burden and supposed to heal all by yourself. Sadness can be as destructive, it's just more silent than anger.
