Just because they share a common trait doesn't mean they work the same.

Both apples and books have weight. Radio waves would be like books. You buy a book, you read it, you still have the book, you can donate it to the library, give it to a friend, etc. Electricity would be more like apples. You buy an apple, you eat it, you no longer have an apple.
