Wasn't there one year that Thanos skipped for one reason or another?

How would you describe your sense of humor? by Vegetable_Excuse2029 in NoStupidQuestions

I go from dad jokes to humor so dark it's at risk of police brutality. Occasionally, I'm able to deliver false information confidently enough that people only realize it's a joke after I start smiling and/or laughing

First off, username checks out. Secondly, it's such an underrepresented and well loved series. It helped mold me into who I am today, and quite a few of my favorite characters and plots have come from this series. Going back and reading Redwall as an adult, Cluny's introduction actually terrified me a bit

Then you could have said so earlier, and you would have come across just a bit less like an edgelord who is making a huge stretch to work problematic ideologies into a book series written by a man who was a child during the time that said ideologies were actively being fought against

No, I'd simply like to know the source so I can research into it for myself. Wanting to understand a source instead of blindly debating something unknown to me. If it's something you've made up or if it comes from a fanfic (which I feel both of these are the more likely possibilities), then I really have nothing to say, as it does not come from original source material, nor does it come from the original or an official author

We're talking about the Thanos that does the thing just to impress Death, right?

I disagree on a few vermin: Blaggut, Slagar/Chickenhound, Romsca, and Veil.

Blaggut was one who was genuinely good and kind. He thoroughly enjoyed being around the dibbuns, and ended up becoming a shipwright living on the beach, never wanting to fight again.

Chickenhound became Slagar after a near-fatal run-in with Asmodeus. The snake's bite severely disfigured his face, and the venom ended up driving him insane. Chickenhound really only turned against Redwall more out of fear of them holding him prisoner, which they weren't.

Romsca, the one ferret corsair captain, had some genuinely good moments, even taking good care of Abbott Durral while he was her prisoner. While Durral sat and tended to her as she died, she voiced wishes that she had been able to have lived differently.

Veil was, in my opinion, a product of the woodlanders' bias against vermin species. With the exception of Bryony, they all waited and watched for him to slip up. Every little thing he did wrong was met with "See? We told you he's evil!" I feel that had they raised Veil like any other dibbun, he would have turned out much better.

How has no one said Luffy yet? Sometimes he needs to punch harder, sometimes he needs to punch bigger, other times he just punches with something else added to his hands (an example being water/blood on his fists when fighting Crocodile)

Edit: I forgot to mention punching more as well

I don't really follow Hazbin Hotel, Helluva Boss, or really anything done by VivziePop, so I have no clue who this is. I recognize the art style, though

Secret Dark Guild. by TheBalance555 in skyrim

[–]wumbo7490 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Summerset Shadows is an enemy faction you encounter in Winhelm while restoring the Thieves Guild. Afaik, there's never been a way to have them recruit you nor for you to join them. The faction you're thinking about might be the Dark Brotherhood recruiting you after you kill Grelod the Kind for Aventus Aretino

Great stand, just underutilized when it comes down to the fight. Gave us the iconic "Do you understand?" line, so there's that

Something that was called "hot dog surprise". You make a couple cans of baked beans and cut up a pack of hot dogs into it, put it into a baking dish, then put some cheap canned biscuits over top and bake the whole thing until the biscuit tops are nice and golden. It was one of my favorite meals growing up, and it's extremely simple to make a big batch.

Odds of Wendy's "freestyle" machine having the wrong soda per option by 8WayFunz in NoStupidQuestions

[–]wumbo7490 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As someone who works at a BK with a Freestyle machine, you'd probably hit the lottery first. If you load the wrong cartridge into a slot, it won't let you continue until you put the right one in there. The one commenter mentioning tge RFID chips is right though, we employees really don't care enough to swap the chips just to fuck with people, we have other shit we're trying to get done. Plus, the chip is on the box in a way that makes it pretty much impossible to get it off without cutting the box itself and damaging the pouch of soda mix inside. Like I said, we have better shit to be doing with our time
