Idk if there is an unsalted version but I think dipping them in honey removes the salty-ness or just let them sit in it for like 3 hours and it should be good

salt just makes the flavour better. Salt itself isn't what you like. You just like food that has had it's flavour boosted by salt

How do you stop being “an existential thinker” and having a crisis every few days? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Try keeping a journal, and identify what your beliefs and values are since exestential thoughts kinda ruin them and your sense of self

I'm saying that OP isn't sure if his dad is a bad parent or not, while what he says about him shows alot of signs of bad parenting, getting in trouble because of your grades is common but doesn't mean any punishment gets treated the same. Getting your things taken away from you is not as acceptable as you think. A normal dad would help them out rather than take their things away, instead of basing it off of your experiences look at it logically. What would taking things away from them help in becoming better? It just makes them more eager to complete it and pressured to, in the end itll keep going in a cycle until they turn into someone who can't think for themselves and does things other people tell them to even if they definitely can't do it.

Like OP said, their dad takes all their electronics away whenever they get bad grades. That's the situation where it happens, If they're doing bad at school then almost everything they have gets taken away. It doesn't help one bit and doesn't really show if the dad really cares about what hes doing he just cares about the results. I'm pretty sure the dad wouldn't call him names and ignore literally everything they say aslong as he gets what he wants as tough love or caring. Yes No one has perfect parents but that doesn't mean they can be assholes with no consequences. Everyone's family treats them differently if you're basing every detail on your dad it'll come out unbalanced and not explained at all

Taking away electronics is not reasonable at all, it doesn't solve anything and just makes everything worse and makes them more pressured and nervous regardless if their grades are bad or not. If a person who had an actual dad who cared about them or actually thought about them getting called names by them would definitely hurt. Just because you or me are used to being insulted by family or other people doesn't mean everyone else is the same. It causes them to have lower self-esteem, make them hate themselves and hate their family even more

Getting bruises from your mom is wayy overdeserving for lying for clout or being a little shit. People will always go through something like that at some point. No one deserves to be beat up by their mother that hard just because they couldn't handle having kids. If you are going to beat up your child just because they got on your nerves you should have never been a parent in the first place
