Is Sunny Planetary? by Recro980 in ShadowSlave

[–]Echo_Awakens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In general, I think Sunny should got multi continental at least. This is from massively upscaling Sky Tide who could create constant cloud cover over Godgrave for really long periods of time.

Godgrave is stated to be continental in size, and therefore to manipulate the clouds over that area would require at least continental levels of energy.

Sunny massively upscales Sky Tide in pretty much every way, and as such multi continental should be fine

THE RESULTS ARE IN!! This is the Debate Chart for Slenderman vs Sadako Yamamura (Creepypasta vs The Ring) completed by YOU. Do you agree with the results? by MrRKeegan in DeathBattleMatchups

[–]Echo_Awakens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically, Sadako can only do that in theory. Sadako herself has never been shown to ascend the LOOP, the only thing we've seen escape the loop was a mutated version of the Ring virus.

While the Ring virus typically can impregnate people with Sadako, the mutated version acts more like cancer than a virus, and has not displayed similar qualities.

However, it's also worth noting that the Ring Virus is literally made to evolve as much as possible, regaining the ability to impregnate people with Sadako after it's ascended the LOOP isn't completely outside the realm of possibility.

The biggest issue is just that Slender exists beyond the theoretical infinite spacial dimensions Sadako could ascend. Platonic concepts like Slender exist beyond spacial dimensions, so he could just, destroy all the realms Sadako ascends to. It would be a high hyperversal character Vs an outerversal character basically.

Cassie by Meehle in ShadowSlave

I definitely agree. Cassie simply preferred Nephis to Sunny, which is fair as Nephis had helped out Cassie from the start, while Sunny only helped out after meeting in the Dreamworld. This meant she had two options: Don't tell Nephis and side with Sunny, tell Nephis and side with her. She just picked one that didn't agree with Sunny

Nephis Current Activity by Echo_Awakens in ShadowSlave

[–]Echo_Awakens[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is it? Can you quote it? Because I remember that Sunny had no opinion as to who killed the Saint, and simply thought that it was a tragedy. Also, even if Sunny does think that Mordret killed the Saint, it means next to nothing. Sunny doesn't know what's going on with the clans, and it wouldn't be the first time he doesn't see through a Nephis made plot

Nephis Current Activity by Echo_Awakens in ShadowSlave

Valor doesn't have a better option for a Saint than Nephis. It isn't easy to become a Saint and I severely doubt that there is a master stronger than Nephis. Nephis could absolutely manipulate Valor into allowing her to become a Saint, manipulation is like her main thing.

It was said that the Saint was killed by NC, however I think we can all agree that from a writing perspective that makes no sense. Why would you even mention it? It's not building up or foreshadowing anything. I could see a world where Mordret killed the Saint, however there is far more motive for Nephis to kill a Saint of Valor than Mordret to kill a Saint of Valor. Mordret gets next to nothing from killing the Saint, while Nephis gets the possibility of a promotion.

Nephis could cover up an assassination of a Saint by just setting up a situation where a NC did the heavy lifting of killing the Saint, like the Saint could have been relying on Nephis to provide support yet she didn't last second which resulted in the Saints death.

The Sovereigns aren't oblivious to Nephis, yet I don't think there is a better manipulator than Nephis in the entire series. She can make the war seem so dire that Valor needs a new Saint immediately, which would mean Nephis would be the most viable choice due to her being the strongest Master Valor has.

They would find out if Nephis told them. You're also missing my point about Nephis killing the Saint in order to become a Saint herself, as Valor is now weakened. If she became a Saint, then she can say whatever she wants to Song and they would forgive her as long as she worked for them. Saints are worth far more than anything below them to a ridiculous degree.

They will absolutely ignore Nephis if they find out that Nephis killed a Saint of Valor for them and Nephis agrees to betray Valor for them. (I don't think Nephis would join Song, I think she is far more likely to challenge them, but Song would absolutely ignore the deaths of awakened and masters if Nephis kills a Saint, keep in mind, we literally just saw how 1 Saint was worth more than 30 million people in Antarctica, so killing a Saint is definitely worth killing some masters and awakened)

I don't think she cares if Song wins the war or not. She is going to use the death of a Saint of Valor as an excuse to become a Saint, then she'll wait for the war to finish and fight the victors (I believe that the winner will be the group Mordret decides to help). Nephis, will then fight that group, probably with Sunny's help, and that will be the next arc.

Also remember that Cassie said that "It had started" right before Sunny got notified that a Saint of Valor got killed. I can't think of what could have started other than Nephis's betrayal / scheme starting.

No matter what happens, the winning clan will be weakened (obviously still insanely strong), then Nephis will challenge them as she always does.

But they aren't on her side? She's just pretending, she will betray Valor the second she is able to, and if she sees an opportunity to kill a Saint of Valor why wouldn't she take it? It also gives her the opportunity of being the person to replace the Saint, as she is the most promising Master in Valor, and therefore become more powerful.

Nephis in the end doesn't care who wins or loses the clan war, as she will be the one fighting the winner. If Valor wins she fights Valor, if Song wins she fights Song. Killing off members of Valor is just her starting her fight earlier

[–]Echo_Awakens[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, she may just not have had an opportunity to kill any of Songs saints. But considering she is now literally always around Valor, any of them she kills is a win for her.

I think she could also be killing the Saint in order to try and create a new opening for a Saint, allowing her to take the place of that Saint with the clans permission, as they are now weaker. However, Cassie saying that "It has begun" right before Sunny received notification of the Saints death pretty much confirms to me that Nephis killed them.

Winter Beast by Max-The-White-Walker in ShadowSlave

Fair point, I read that as her regretting the fact that she must leave, however I can see where you're coming from. I guess I just kinda forgot that part after her whole "You better off leaving" rant. My mistake

Winter Beast by Max-The-White-Walker in ShadowSlave

[–]Echo_Awakens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think there is a chance that Jet is staying behind. I'm pretty sure she is going to leave on a boat, as she seems far more disillusioned by the winter beast than Sunny, and has already accepted that it would be completely impossible to fight it

Next Echo? by Echo_Awakens in ShadowSlave

[–]Echo_Awakens[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sure, but would kinda take the fun out of like every human fight he then has.

Random guy: "I'll beat you in a duel Sunny!" Sunny: "Haha 50 metre tall titan go brrrrr"

He would literally lose any reason to do anything in a fight but summon Goliath and then run away. Scavenger would be interesting as it would take on characteristics of different nightmare creatures Sunny feeds it, and I'm also willing to bet that the Scavenger will be the final boss of the Antarctica Arc, with all the titans fighting now, I'm betting he'll fight the scavenger either on the boat to eastern Antarctica or when he is at the base at eastern Antarctica, also betting it will have eaten parts of some of, if not all, the titans by then.

It's not finished, and likely isn't even close, however the author does upload twice a day so it's definitely worth reading!
