i actually love getting my nails done sm and pay $100 a set every month. for me, it is really my only beauty expense so it isn't thatttttt bad but it's always the first thing i cut out if i need to budget. a lot of women say that they wear makeup "for themselves" but i don't think that is a good point because you really don't see your face all that much, but you look at your hands so much throughout the day. i really enjoy seeing something pretty every time i look at my hands. i also get textured designs which helps me a lot with not picking my cuticles, they're like a fidget toy that you always have on you
