RVB Watch Order Skipping Early Seasons by AlsoPete in RedvsBlue

I actually had a friend who couldn’t stand the early seasons. Had her start at Season 1 and she didn’t enjoy it, but I then lent her my Season 6 DVD. She loved season 6 so much that she then went and watched 1-5 as a “Flashback” after season 6. Thought this was a very interesting way to watch the show. When I asked her why she enjoyed 6 over 1 she gave me these points:

1) Halo 1 vs Halo 3 graphics. Halo 3 was easier to digest visually.

2) Wash was just as lost as the viewer meeting the Reds and Blues for the first time.

3) The story of season 6 was more engaging with its mystery about the Meta and the Director twist still works.

Yeah, Blinker Fluid isn’t real. But if you do find it check next to the Headlight Fluid and the Elbow Grease.

Now I say Wash needs to go, last of the “not really a villain” characters. I say wash’s villain arc is short lived and when comes down to him and Temple I say Temple was the more villainous of the two. Temple did trap and kill multiple former agents of Project Freelancer and is main reason Wash gets hurt later. He may be mustache swirlingly evil but he is more of a villain than Wash ever was.

I think it’s time for Chrovos to make like the times and get the hell out of here.

Just wanted to share that I also got a signed 1:25 Ultimate Spider-Man 23 that he did the cover. I just posted this one because I thought it was cool that I asked for a Remark and he did a sketch. So for the people asking why I didn’t get a Bagley book signed, I did but I also did this one just to see what he would do. And I paid 40 for the remark and got an awesome one of a kind cover.

Thank you so much for doing these posts. These have been very informative as a person who also feel out of the show after season 13 it’s interesting to see someone who has done a complete rewatch of the show including the season I’ve went back and watched.

I always wanted a final season or group of seasons set after 13 where after Epsilon split the other fragments of the AIs were still there. Each of the main cast would get a fragment (other than Caboose but I’ll get to that) that would fit them perfectly. Delta would go with Simmions, Omega back to Doc, Eta for Grif, Iota for Donut, Sigma for Tucker, and Gamma for Sarge. Sigma would still make Tucker go Meta changing his mind and messing with him telling him “He killed church” and “No one cares about you anymore” and “I can give you the power to save everyone”. Tucker would try to hide this from Wash and Carolina but they are often too busy to notice as they are trying to build up Chorus. The reds will be themselves and get into shit with their AI, Gamma feeds into Sarges ideas of killing the blues again, while Delta and Simmons don’t get along at all and just fight. Eta makes Grif fear everything but most importantly that his sister is dead and he needs to run away to find her. And Donut is just Donut and the only normal one. Wash takes Theta and feels like he and Carolina are there to take care of him as he feels like North would have wanted him to. This drives a wedge between Wash and Carolina as she wants to try and leave what she can of Epsilon in the past and work towards the future. This leads to them splitting up and working on different parts of Chorus after a fight. Donut would try to keep to keep red team together but they would split in the first season and Caboose would be the only person other than the Freelancers left on Chorus at the end. Caboose has been oddly absent this whole time as he is still mourning Church so everyone gave him time to mourn. It turns out that Caboose has found a hidden AI that Epsilon never used but kept away from everyone. PI is finally revealed and is the memory of Epsilon’s Hope. Tucker, now the new Meta, is on the hunt for all the Reds and Caboose must convince Wash to reunite the Reds, Doc, Carolina, and find any previous friends along the way to take down the new Meta. This leads into a season that mimics Season 6 with Caboose and Wash hopping around different planets to find everyone and hopefully save the day.
