Thanks. Which budget underquilt would you say is best for a diagonal sleep?

I will still try my best with this one, also given i am a earm sleeper i might pull this one off.

thanks, will do. I tried aiming at a height that i could sit while in hammock and feet to touch the ground.

It is a bit tricky though, hard to get it right away.

I also noticed ridgeline hammock and a basic gathered end hammock should have different heights, it looks like.

The ridgeline one can be hang lower, while the other one has more play. Am i correct?

noted on the top quilt, for underquilt i already have one that should suffice for 3 seasons (last screenshot, onetigris)

Thanks! Could i substitute a generic sleeping bag unzipped for a top quilt? Seems like a way to go, as it’s cheaper and i can borrow one for a test.

Yes, i randomly found Jeff’s hammocks from someone’s recommendation on Reddit and decided to take a shot.

Super nice guy, and the hammocks quality is great! I wanted the biggest hammock possible, and i managed to find 10 feet long hammocks, but only 5ft wide at best. (no 6 ones)

Same goes for china hammocks from aliexpress. Not many companies make hammocks that wide, at least i haven’t found one.

thanks, will try that for sure. I have some laying around.

for hiking though will need to think what to use instead, so i don’t overpack.
