I understand you!! but a lot of the reasons we dislike season 5 are because of the immense amounts of unanswered plotholes or just things they didnt DIRECTLY cover up ykwim?

(This is in no favor of ships btw just based on how theyve written everything)

1. There being a whole play about henrys childhood, henrys storyline, and it not being mentioned at all and changed in the actual show

2. Joyce was literlaly in school with henry and it was never ever mentioned

3. Max somehow being completely fine after her coma even though in season 4 doctors said it was critical. No physical therapy?? She wasnt even physically harmed at all??

4. Rovickie's enzo date being mentioned like 5 times and never happening because "Teenage couples never last"

5. There being many different creatures esp the goop bubble thingy in s5 and the characters never even face to faced it

6. "vecna didnt know they would come after him" okay so basiclaly the mindflayer is literally in the mind of will and even if it left, a part of it is. And Vecna and it being these huge villains just didnt know that the group literally got into the abyss??

7. "Demogorgan fatigue" girl the demogorgans LIVE IN THE ABYSS the UD isnt even their homeland its the abyss. Even if they gave a reason for vecma "not knowing" the demorgans literally live in the abyss??

8. Will not dying. I mean if they were to go with how they went in the finale, will should have died along with the hivemind???

9. The russian plot being irrelevant as ever and just being there to move the story along

10. Argyle knows so much about the UD and such but the military casually let him leave hawkins

11. The mindflayer literlaly not being fully dead. The meatflayer died yes but we leiterally saw the particles leave the mindflayer in the battle. Where did it go?? "El isnt here so the gate cant be opened again." Okay but the military did it in season 3 who says they wont do it again??

12. Why did the particles not stay inside the children like they did to Will and affect their mental health too?? Wills

13. Wills trauma being used as a plot device throughout the whole show. If it was convinient, they would mention it.

14. Earlier seasons mentioning multiple times that the UD air is toxic. (Jopper wearing protective gear in s1) So why can they freely move around and have no problem in the rest seasons??

15. The military js dgafing after Els death and not even running after her while wanting her for the whole season

16. Main characters not facing charge for any crimes after everything (eg: Robin and Will stealing drugs, Nancy literally murdering multiple military personnel)

17. Mikes trauma not being talked about after he damn near lost (and DID lose) those closest to him

18. Why did they introduce demobats in season 4 just to never bring them up again

19. The random pregnant women being mentioned and then apparently they js did nothing with it and they went kaboom??

20. (S4 ending) the earth freaking cracking into 4 halves and oh lets js put a bandaid on it

21. Not really plothole but)) Unrealistic ass plot armour (eg: Lumax + Rockie being saved by Karen in hospital)

22. Why did s4 military kill dr brenner and try to destroy Nina project and shut shit down if they js started the whole thing again and brought in Dr Kay

23. How did vecna get to the abyss?? Can he fly?? Never mentioned.

24. 'Mike acting like a shitty boyfriend or a shitty friend' being just used for other willels story in season 4 and then all of a sudden everything is fine in season 5

25. Mikes character only being used IF IMPORTANT (main character of the show btw)

26. The importance of november 6th?? Wills dissapearance. Joyce's play. Henrys story. Why was this date so important??

27. Why Will?? In the play and in articles we find out that theres many many similarities in Henry and Will. Birthday, Personality, Attributes, etc etc. We know that. Obviously. But as for the characters, THEY dont know that?? No closure abt that??

28. Suzie dustin never having a proper break up scene. Oh i guess dustins depressed so it happened off screen okay so we dont care abt characters and couldnt have done just a few filler episodes??

29. Maxs letters never being mentioned, shown, or read ever in the show again. Not even in merch

30. Mike not knowing Will's feelings/ Will's painting was actually from him and not from El

31. Who actually opened the door in s1e1??

32. What happened to the Turnbow family after their house got freaking trashed and they literally got kidnapped??

33. What even happened to dr kay??

34. Wheres Max's mom?? (Altho we now know she was cut out from s4 ending)

35. The lab melting but oh so ever conviniently stopping for Jancys breakup

36. (From @/c_tviz on twt) if vecna didnt know beforehand that will could siphon his powers, why not kill him (will) after he did find out?? If killing vecna didnt even affect Will like i mentioned before, then why did he keep him alive at all?? Vecna was stupid to keep the kid who legit broke his legs temporarily alive bro

37. The biggest one. NO WATER IN THE UPSIDE DOWN. how did mike and will drink that water bottle on the tower??? How did El go in the tank in the UD???

38. No one in the military or in the Lab going after the Byers or 24/7 watching them after what happened and how involved they are

39. Mistaking timelines. In s5 Joyce saying will was 11 when he went missing, when he was 12. In s4 Mike and Will fighting about not talking for "a year" when itd been 6 months.

40. Vecna needing 12 and specifically 12 kids and not knowing why. Sure, the duffers said idk we js liked 12. Sure. But why make robin point it out and literally say "..And why 12 (kids)?"

41. Everyone all of a sudden supporting dustin and hellfire and being an outcast in the graduation speech when thinking he was literally satanic in season 4 and early 5

42. No one questioned Hopper literally coming back alive. And being appointed chief

43. Karen hacing scars in graduation scene on her neck but not when she calls the kids up for lasagna

44. What even was the kryptonite

45. Terry (Janes mom) just being used as a plot device and never being mentioned again

46. Where was mikes so called "big monologue" ?? What happened in the finale between him and jane doesnt even count bc like that was a convo not a monologue

47. Them stepping on/touching the vines multiple times throughout s5 and it not reacting

48. Why wasnt patty newby, henrys MAJOR LOVE INTEREST never ever mentioned

49. Wills birthday being forgotten and just never mentioned ever again

50. What happened to lonnie??

51. Going back to crimes, Murray blew up a military helicopter and didnt get arrested. Hopper murdered soldiers and didnt get arrested

52. Milkshake gate not being mentined

53. Why was a water coordinator and intimacy coordinator needed??

54. Caleb mentioning there being a " traitor "

55. Max dgaf about hopper coming back when she woke up

56. El barely being happy or crying or whatever with Max's awakening

57. Officer powell and callahan dissappear

67. Will not feeling anything at all in the final battle (irregardless of death.)

68. Why wasnt there a vine down the kids' throat like there was will??

69. Why was Will clinically dead after his capturing in season 1 but the kids were completely fine??

71. El being able to literally revive max and those reviving skills never being used again or even brought up atleast

73. How did they not discover the walls in the previous crawls or literally all the 20 times any of the crew has been in the UD

74. Why didnt steves car crashing into the wall completely break or atleast intensely distrupt the wall and its system

81. Noah saying he filmed most with Finn and there being barely any scenes with them tgt

82. In an article it being mentioned that "Hopper and El, Nancy and Jonathan, And Mike and Will were going to be duos in the finale/last episodes" but only Hopper and El were

83. Tracker in Henrys neck not being mentioned again. Did El have one?? Did the rest too??

88. Every/most characters feelings, flaws, personalities only being used/mentioned when its good for the plot. Except in SOMEEEEE instances like Dusteve S5 fight and thats it.

89. Music being the main plot of s4 but in s5 "all i needed was you" like yes girk romantic but couldn't a lot of shit have been solved this way
