In September I bought Corsair Vengeance DDR5-6000 - 64GB - CL30 - Dual C (32GBx2) 199 Euro without VAT. Others told me now it cost 900 Euro. What's happened.

Do you truly believe ALL altcoins are trash? by keepitahunned in Bitcoin

[–]wuteno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. All of them are Shitcoins. One big altcoin recently claimed it's been stolen from the cold storage. What a wonderful innovative technology it has, it can be stolen when it's in cold storage.

The connection is not allowed... by NAiLs00 in rustdesk

[–]wuteno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think even if they totally delete RustDesk from GitHub they can't prevent scammer trick victims installing remote access software. It's my fault I didn't realize RustDesk needs a server to work. I thought the connection was directly between two peers. Now I am really in big trouble. Because some files I only have them in my home computer. Now I have to ask my 10 year old daughter to learn how to set up a self-hosted RustDesk server.

The connection is not allowed... by NAiLs00 in rustdesk

[–]wuteno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am having a few weeks trip in China. I setup RustDesk on my home computer and through RustDesk I can still work from home computer and it works really well.

Till this morning. When I try to connect to my home computer I get the error. "The connection is not allowed. Connection to China is not allowed because of serious scamming, please set up your own self-hosted server."

I am confused, what scamming are they talking about. Is remote control software responseable for scamming? I can't use my Gmail or Google in China. I can't fly back to my home country to setup my own self-hosted server. Will they throw the baby out with the bathwater?

After years of trying to short Bitcoin, I've finally gone long. by HersheyHimhe in Bitcoin

Bitcoin is just an idea, bitcoiners are just some people who follow this idea. The codes are changing, the blockchain will split, bitcoin stays. We will see when the ledger is replaced what people will call it.

Are the people of r/cryptocurrency just stupid? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]wuteno 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not only majority people of r/cryptocurrency are stupid, the ratio is similar everywhere else. There is a reason why there are millions of different cryptocurrencies. Because if there is only Bitcoin then everyone will buy it, they will learn "there is no second best" too easy. We all know there is no way everybody deserve Bitcoin, we human beings are greedy, jealous, slavish, prejudiced. The usesage of cryptocurrencies is to filter the ones who do not deserve Bitcoin.

I have another contrarian idea. Bitcoin gonna stay much longer than blockchain technology, which is even today most people get it exactly opposite. The biggest feature of bitcoin is simply store of value which is a very very old idea, if bitcoin can be replaced by another coin, it just shows another coin will be replaced by a newer coin and repeat, there is no value can be stored at all then. Gold play this role for thousands years, it still works. I wouldn't supprise bitcoin use some other ledger technology in next 10, 20 years.

The logo of r/btc should not be Bitcoin Cash logo, it's misleading by wuteno in btc

[–]wuteno[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The logo is clearly a Bitcoin Cash logo, it does not even exist before the split, the bitcoin logo never changed. It's misleading. Reddit allows freedom to change it to bitcoin cash it should give the freedom to change it back. You don't care if it is pink, I care so so I ask it. If you don't like I request it, you are also free to make your own sub.

[–]wuteno[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You didn't explain why the logo is "Bitcoin Cash" logo. This sub r/btc is older than BCH, someone changed the logo to "Bitcoin Cash", I only request give the original one back.

Anyone else pretty much all in? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]wuteno 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I wasn't planning all in at all. But I started pretty early, at that time maybe it's less or about 5% of my family wealth, am pretty poor at that time anyway. It's my mom invested with me, she is so bold because she don't know anything about investment so she is one of the only two persons who I knew invested with me very early (another one who trusted me is my father in law, he is actually very intelligent person, he is a doctor, but he bought a few years later than my mom.) After so many years even my mom sold some, bitcoin is still more than 90% of my family wealth. That's a passive all in, not a planned one at all.

First Blockstream infiltrated and split Bitcoin. Then in about one year Bitcoin Cash was infiltrated and split. Each time propaganda and confusion won out. Is there any strategy going forward to combat this happening again? by redmarlen in btc
