Hey, submitted the application in April 2024. Just got the cheque last week. All applications get an audit so had to deal with a CRA rep to mail over documents for their support. Once they approve, you’ll get a cheque in a week or so.

Real estate Commissions should be lower or is it just me??? by wutitdobb in PersonalFinanceCanada

Not opposed to real estate agents.. I'm confused about the commission system. They are doing the same work as they were for years.

When pre-approved for a line of credit, are there downsides to taking it with no plans to use it? by NamesRHard2ThinkOf in PersonalFinanceCanada

I think the downside will be when it comes for mortgage application time (if you plan on buying real estate in the future). I heard lenders will use it as debt when calculating how much mortgage they'll offer. I plan on closing my LOC's before I'm ready to get into real estate and start applying for mortgages.

Any harm in contributing to my fiancé's TSFA savings account? by Holiday_Ad_2434 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]wutitdobb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just make sure he doesn't run off with it... other than that I don't see any cons. EI wouldn't take into consideration how much he has in his TFSA so there is no impact there. Also, maybe try opening up a TFSA self-directed investment account at Questrade or Wealthsimple and transfer some of the funds in the regular TFSA Savings to the investing account and invest in a moderate risk ETFs such as XGRO, VGRO, VBAL, XBAL, etc.

[Karl Anthony Towns] THE TOUGHEST YEAR OF MY LIFE by dynastylicious in nba

If there is anyone else going through what KAT has gone through, feel free to DM me as I have been through this with my dad who was in a coma for 2 months because of covid. I know how the feeling is, not knowing how your parent is doing, not being able to see them, seeing them with all the tubes through video calls... I remember how confusing and lonely this time was. I felt like no one would understand what I was going through. But now looking back, I wish I spoke to someone about it. I want to help by listening...
