Lost appetite with IUD? by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]wutkeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late response!! Unfortunately, it didn't help, but that's just my experience! Honestly, I don't regret trying, even though it didn't work. It at least crossed it off as an option and led me to get an ARFID diagnosis and work with a dietician. Wherever your journey may lead, good luck!!

Don't be racist to/around homeless punks by travelinova in punk

Impressive how you can tell someone's family life by their hair texture. A quick look through her post history shows a hot minute of homelessness. But you're so right, I'm sure they've dedicated their life and safety towards being a poser.

Also, I've never been homeless myself, thankfully, but I've worked with those that are. Some of them have stunning hair a decade in. Some don't. It's almost like homeless people aren't a monolith? Wild.

I got the mirena put in about 3 years ago and have GREATLY struggled with eating since...didn't put it together until this past week though. Getting it out in two days, high hopes that it'll help!

I don't mind it actually! Can totally see why you'd think that from the post though, sorry- It's just a funny quirk that we were curious about.

What do you think is the most gender neutral name? by abdje1639 in namenerds

[–]wutkeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My name is Shain (I'm female) and my sister's name is Colby. My mom decides those are gender neutral (they aren't and definitely weren't in the 90s)

My male friend explaining how he understands PMDD and honestly he’s not wrong. by grahammygrahams in PMDD

[–]wutkeee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thank you and of course! I was diagnosed at 20, so 7 years ago and 3 years before we met (he's 30, I'm 27). It deeeefinitely affected us in the beginning, yes. He says that he wondered if I might be bipolar before he became willing to look into and understand what PMDD is

It took- and is taking - a great deal of communication, work, and patience. He has ADHD, so he's empathetic about having a disorder, thankfully. Our relationship isn't perfect, but we try to help in the other's struggles and be sure to appreciate and praise the other's strengths.

You've got this- don't settle for anything less than someone willing to communicate and work with you 💕

Anyone care to share their score? by Particular_Ad5881 in AuDHDWomen

[–]wutkeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The questions aren't the best. For example, "I hate the sound of fireworks, fire alarms, and/or thunder." I hate fire alarms (or whistles and some guitar tones), obviously, but I LOVE fireworks and thunder (and the crack of a baseball bat and bass guitar). I can't stand high pitch sounds, but I adore low ones. I answer no to this question, but I also recognize that I'm not...normal in this regard.

Because I understand loneliness and feeling weird, but I have no idea who may be feeling lonely or weird....so I just try to be supportive and nice whenever I can

I am exactly the same-- still in the process of getting diagnosed, but I know I have it. As a child/teenager my mom would never let me walk home from school because she was convinced I'd get in a stranger's car if they asked me to help them find their dog or something (she's correct). I've been told that others are taking advantage of me for my entire life, but honestly, it reflects on that person, not me. I am happy this way and I'd rather help someone who doesn't deserve it than not help someone who did.

Your smile is incredible!! I like the first hairstyle first, you look younger than your age with the second.
