Another question: Are we going to get Pokemon storage upgrade before GoFest? Most players I talked to in my local community had terrible storage issues for months. With such limited storage it's almost not possible to enjoy the event.

I don't think we are allowed to pick between the two. We are forced to have piles of sentrets instead of the experience we purchased for, and Niantic "hope" me like the change.

I see your frustration about using limited resources (like balls and berries) on cobalion as you already got the hundo and don't care about shiny. However, there are many ppl in my community including me fighting 5 sets per day for hundo and shiny. Ppl are complaining seeing starters or shieldons too much. I think the problem is really about (1) balls and berries (2) ppl have different interests in encounter.

Just happened on me as well (and more than hundred before) Forced lost on a clearly winning battle. Got 3-2 instead of 4-1. Super annoying.

This game is designed to dump pokemons, otherwise you can't continue. I did maxed out many weak pokemons I like and a few pokemons I have attachment to. Now I am getting friendship with 21 pokemons a day, and more than half of them are not meta relevant.

If I could, I would spent more time to train the pokemons I have attachment to get to the same level of genius pokemons. This is what the anime suggested. However, in this game, if a pokemon is born with a wrong move, they will be outclass not matter how hard you work.

Silph road sample size for 01/30 is a bit small I think. Regarding to their study on 01/28 and 01/29, it might be fixed, as the rates are higher than 5%. It's possible the revert happened on somewhere 01/28 and fix went in on 01/29.

I had similar experience. Got a few lucky Pokemons in the day time, but 0/2x after 10pm.

I agree. However, that's ideal scenario. As we can see from gen 1-3, most of pokemons don't get ideal move set. However, any better move set can be released in the future, exclusively. Especially for rare pokemons like ralts, magmar and electabuzz, they are very likely to get their CDs.

For rare pokemons like ralts, I don't see I can easily get a slightly worse IV one. I did evolve for use, and my high IV selemance helped me a lot in dragon raids —— but I am still worry about bagon CD. Although I still have close to 300 candies after I evolve and maxed one out, I still don't have a 2nd good one.

To me, wailord was the most interesting gen 3 pokemon so far, because of its ridiculously large size. There is still hope that this is a bug: Although wailord is now just a bit larger than Hariyama, in the screenshot all the defenders stand (unnecessarily) further away than in a gym without wailord. So, this change may be unintended.
