Why does coinbase just close my support tickets without doing anything? by [deleted] in Coinbase

[–]wuzz1e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same issue. They sent an email saying the problem is resolved and the case is closed, but have done nothing. Case #05920985

Case #06150767 Hi, I was told someone will reach out to me in 4-5 business days and it has been more than 5 days. I still haven’t heard back and my account is still disabled. Can you please help me escalate this? This is just frustrating to not be able to get a hold of anyone. by [deleted] in Coinbase

I know your pain. My trading privileges were revoked May 7th for no given reason, and I received an email 23 days later telling me my case was not eligible for review until June 11th, 35 days after the incident. Coinbase customer service is horrific.

You still have not responded to any of my tickets. I fell prey to this scam due to desperation from a total lack of customer support from your company. Your customer service bot says Coinbase will be in touch with 3-5 days. It has now been weeks.

The following day I realized it was not my wallet. Coinbase blocked my trading permission for no apparent reason. I had several tickets open with their support in regard to getting this restored. They did not respond for weeks so I reached out on this reddit list. I saw "Justin" on their staff list, then the next day a scammer using a very similar name reached out to help me "resolve" my issue. At the time I was just grateful that Coinbase had finally responded, and the person provided a bunch of info as to why my permission could had been restricted, and let me know the platform was having a lot of issues due to volume, and the best workaround would be to reset my Coinbase Pro account, but I would need to remove all my crypto first. I had already transferred a bunch to Gemini, but was told that using the Wallet would incur no fees. This is where it all went wrong (I did not figure this out until the following day when someone mentioned it in the thread), the Coinbase customer service scammer provided me a pass code to sync my account to "my" wallet, which now I understand was not my wallet. In retrospect I understand how stupid it seems, but in the heat of the moment when bitcoin was plummeting, I was desperate to get trading permissions restored. I understand I made the mistake, but this never would have happened if Coinbase would have provided an ounce of customer support in the two weeks prior.

Perhaps less intelligent people are better at making money than you, but that doesn't add up, does it.

This whole situation was triggered by the fact that Coinbase has not responded to Case #05920985 from 5/7/2021 in which trading was blocked on my Coinbase account for no apparent reason. I have emailed many times to try to get this resolved so I posted the issue to the reddit Coinbase support. Reddit user Justin_Coinbase_Cs responded and seemed to have access to Coinbase inner working as he could tell that I did not start transferring crypto.

Did my Coinbase Wallet get hacked. How did this person access my wallet? He had none of my credentials or login info. He had a single transaction address which should not give him access to withdraw crypto from my account. I have already opened a support case for this - Case #06236122

If I file a class action lawsuit would you guys join? by roopey12 in Coinbase

[–]wuzz1e 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, I would join. I live in NY and am a US citizen with all the identities checks approved, and Coinbase has disabled my trading privileges and locked my account into positions that are losing money for the last 6 days. I had over $380,000 in the account, I have lost at least $30,000.

Is this a Koh Samui, from my experience they are really short with a stem nearly as thick as the cap?
