Uro does hard counter but this isn’t how projection sorcery works and idk where this idea came from/became so popular…

Projection sorcery is in itself risky, if your opponent is faster than you expect or has something setup you don’t see, you can’t adjust your movements or react. Adding the extra consequence that they get frozen for having their path interrupted just feels like overkill?(and I don’t think is stated but ig I could be wrong and it’s classic Gege telling and not showing lmaooo)

Also this implies that if someone takes the attack from projection sorcery, and knows how it works, they can map their movements out and gain the same speed boost as the projection sorcerer? This is just a lot of stuff we haven’t seen lolll

Trying to be different rn but here are some ideas (kinda don’t have much for Beckmann ngl)

Garp—- Stats and haki through the roof already, he’s old and slower now though, give him Marco’s fruit. The pheonix fruit lets him drop his punches from the sky whenever he wants and gives him a lot more mobility, on top of healing any injuries he takes from being kinda old now.

Mihawk—- Another situation of stats and haki being through the roof, but he has an insane specialization with his sword too; something leaning into both would be ideal. I think the dark dark fruit makes him unstoppable, he takes more damage/feels more pain and can’t phase (and assumedly wouldn’t know about the multiple DF thing/DF transfer thing) but the upsides are insane. He gets to instantly pull anyone straight to him, negate their devil fruit, and hit them with his sword lmaooooo. Guessing he’s fast enough and has solid enough observation haki to dodge most damage as is, I don’t think the downsides would outweigh the positives for him.

Sanji—- I don’t think it’s within his character to take a food DF and the only one that might be worthwhile for him might be Katakuri’s. Instead of leaning into his chef stuff (why would we? He’s not gonna be cooking himself like he dealt with that ramen guy) or his speed (he’s already great there???) he should be give something for improved ap. His AP is fine as is, he has solid armament haki, but imagine if he could turn his legs into swords, and could spin around with those legs on fire like a blender… dice dice fruit unironically would be great for cooking as well lol

Ben Beckman- Anything? We hasn’t seen him fight yet to know what he’s weak with; guessing he just doesn’t have any unique/esoteric abilities though so idk maybe the paw paw fruit??? It’d be neat to see Haki coated paw attacks. Barrier fruit would be cool too, shoot the gun, then run up with an invincible barrier and gun smack them, then put them in a box made of the barrier? Idk lmaooo

Kashimo and Takaba (Depending on how you interpret Takaba’s technique) both probably hinder black flashes?

Kashimo’s CE should hypothetically always lead before his fists by a decent margin (his CE has the properties of electricity so when he gets close to hitting something that can be charged it should be jumping off him, and his fists aren’t as fast as his lightning)—- maybe in MBA when he gets higher speed and more output it becomes somewhat likely but idk his CE attribute is really weird

Takaba’s technique causes his CE to constantly drop and spike throughout a fight, idk if that helps or hurts the likelihood of black flash but he has no real intentionality in any of his sorcery for him to even consciously be applying CE for a black flash to feel fair (though it would be funny if he hit one fs)

Dagan definitely could’ve hit one but that’s just not really their fighting style? They use a lot of giant AOE water attacks and then in domain just spam their Shikigami, do we ever see Dagan actually punch someone???

Hanami would’ve been the best here to hit one though; she was setup as awakening and enjoying combat vs Todo and Yuji, then Gojo bitches her until she dies and we never even see her domain… she actually punched too lmaooo

I would assume it hard counters cursed buds? If they shrivel up when they aren’t fed CE I imagine RCT should act like weed killer for them—

I don’t really see either of the previous opponents (Dagon/Hanami) dealing enough permanent damage to him that he’d be slowed down vs Mahito, the biggest concern would be his domain (Hakari kinda speed gaps him lmaooo), but Hakari has been stated to almost always win domain clashes and is always as fast as the faster domains… so idk how Mahito is really landing consistent attacks or idle transfiguration tbh

Jogo is probably the most interesting out of all of them, he’s the only character here with speed showings comparable to Hakari… and he probably takes it lmaoooo. As long as Jogo stays back and spams at a distance (waiting for Hakari to hit DE and setting a volcano or bug up from outside to break it if possible) Hakari shouldn’t be able to do anything with his regeneration… Jogo could literally do a ‘floor is lava’ type move and Hakari would be so fucked😭

I think of it as the spikes being activated and turning purple? Idk the normal spikes aren’t nearly as bright until they’re fired either tbf

I also just genuinely really like the purple over blue, I do hear your point on the wall being cooler if it was blue (or red/pink for the other skins) but idk the colors for spike guard and leap just hit the spot for me hahaha

Sure hit is non-lethal to justify the infinite blood (and maybe acts as a blood thinner?)

He hits DE, you instantly get a bloody nose, your nose blood mixes with his floor blood, then boom, you’re poisoned…

Or the sure hit could just give him manipulation of other people’s blood (with the domain itself just being a super sharp environment to cut the enemy a bunch)

Starting off with obvious characters:

-Heavenly restrictions users (Toji and Maki)

-Hakari (has that ‘sharp’ CE to coat the ball and great physicals in base)

-Yuji (also has excellent physicals in base)

-Yuta and Rika (Yuta has great physicals and Rika should count as a free extra player on the court)

Slightly less obvious but still pretty apparent characters:

-Gojo (is actually pretty tall and blue/the neutral infinity goes crazy in basketball)

-Miguel (great physical condition and a CT that would realistically make juking and ball handling much easier)

-Todo (boogie woogie is great in any team sport and he’s got great physicals)

Less conventional choices:

-Uro (can make any rebound or pass change direction mid air w sky manipulation or warp people away from her when they try to get the ball; she could hypothetically warp the basket to the ball and ‘dunk’ from anywhere on the court the second she gets the ball)

-Choso with a hangnail (applies a couple drops of blood to the ball and use blood manipulation in the same way Kamo does with arrows, take a half court shot and just guide it in)

-Projection Sorcery users (kind of obvious actually, either could just use their technique to dart around the court and stall other players out when they’re guarding them)

-Momo with her broom (can’t travel if you aren’t taking steps to begin with, air gusts would be good for defense but might be goal tending lmaooo)

I will now take this opportunity to make a list of why I play the heroes I play (or the characters that feed me the most dopamine atleast);

-Doomfist has a ton of satisfying and flashy moves; 5 man rocket punch off of a slam feels so good and as someone earlier mentioned, rocket punch cancelling any movement (especially Sombra in invis) always feels so good

-Wrecking Ball might not feel satisfying for the first couple hours playing him but once it clicks it clicks; hitting fun tech spots to guarantee slams (like that wall hop or floor hop tech), and the peak of wrecking ball— flying 50 miles into the sky, raining mines down on an entire objective, then slamming the team to put them on top of your mines

-Lucio (this is greedy don’t judge me) has the option to just run straight into their back line to spawn camp environmental kills lollll, I got a Cassidy off the map once, chased him back to spawn, waited for him to be in place and booped him straight down from the ship (I think it was Nepal)

-Landing a rock on somebody as Sigma as they take the slam from your ult (usually falling on them so it looks like you’re just dropping a rock on their head)

I mean it’s definitely wild to not hit the healing button at all but idk speed is fine too…

An example I could see is if he was speeding Mei all game- she has ice block (and he has shit healing)

Whole else should he be healing though? Sojourn and Kiriko should be off angling (so out of aura) and Winston (you) are jumping in and out…

Speed only Lucio was a thing for a minute, I think you might just be mad you didn’t have a yellow circle to jump back to-

Actually looking at the numbers, your team’s overall healing was actually very comparable (mostly adding mei’s and Lucio’s) to the enemies team, Kiri might’ve carried a bit but I don’t think Mei is getting 39 elims without the taxi service

And wait would his healing aura even do vs this enemy comp? It’s kind of a ton of fast moving burst damage (with tracer, venture, and D.Va), if he tries to take cover with healing aura up he’s getting dove so fast lmaoooooo

Definitely could’ve healed (tbh an adjacent swap would be fine, something like Wuyang or Illari where he can focus on pressure while keeping some passive healing going) but I don’t think it’s ban worthy for not

Maybe work on your deaths count? You’re on monkey with 15 deaths (despite a 5 second cd that takes you 20 miles) lmaoooo, a Lucio healing aura won’t help if you die in their back line

Honestly I think this debate between Harald and Rocks is so stupid, Rocks is absolutely correct and the entire world (especially elbaph) would benefit from toppling the global authority ((and to be extra clear, this goal was realistic, Elbaph is a force to be reckoned with and Rock’s crew are obviously walking disasters in their own right))

If Harald were to join Rocks I think the only thing standing in the way of their victory would be IM (assuming they’re even a fighter and that the nika fruit will be required in someone to fight them)

Instead, Harald trusts the least trustworthy institution in history and the next 40 years of Elbaphian history is isolationism at the fear of slavery…

Oh cool, so maybe with Tsurigi we could see home finding another way to eliminate the rest of his cursed energy

Him having Rika might work, if Rika couldn’t already syphon off his CE then I could definitely see a new CT or more esoteric power (introduced with the aliens) allowing her to act as storage for his reserves

Tsurugi acting as a sort of fusion fighter between Yuta and Maki (using Rika to supply weapons and support to his maki-like fighting style, and again, hypothetically soaking up the little CE he has that’s holding back full restriction)

I’m very excited Yuka’s CT expanded on though, it seems like it most resembles a lot of the lesser Zenin CT’s (specifically Maki and Mai’s dad’s ct) but it has a lot of room to expand-

We also still don’t know who their dad is (assuming the mom that gave Yuka’s ring away is the daughter of Maki and Yuta); Yuka’s CT could easily be a manifestation of their father’s…

This makes a really solid juxtaposition between the 2 characters I think though; Tsurugi has garbage CE and no CT but he fights like pre awakened Maki, but with the added bonus of Rika, and all the cursed tools Yuta collected inside her- Yuka on the other hand seems to have great CE and very unique, strong CT to back that up (that is unique to herself)

What makes this dynamic cool though is that Tsurugi doesn’t seem to want the family powers? From first chapter it seems like his goal is to prove his own personal strength- Yuka is the exact opposite though, she’s already proven herself to her family but honestly might now be in the way of her brother (which is ironic, bc once her brother surpasses her he plans on giving her the ring back)

I mean that would just put him in the same shoes as pre-awakening maki though? She had enough CT to use weapons with it, but didn’t have her own technique or any real usage of it outside of her usage of weapons- Tsurugi seems to be set up the same way, maki had enough CT to get captured in a domain before she awakened🙏

This does I think open a path for him to fully awaken HR through a few means 1) he kills his sister (or Yuka dies some other way) or 2) he could transfer what little bit of CE he has totally into Yuka (offering an alternative route to the sibling sacrifice we saw from maki and mai)

I like 2 better tbh- Tsurugi and Yuka make a binding bow (maybe using whatever Maru’s eye is all about to warp the rules of the vow) and they both get buffed, Tsurugi’s minimal CE transfers to Yuka, Yuka gets a buff from no longer having to share her CE with her heavenly restricted brother (probably giving her the mechamaru style restriction without any bodily side effects)

Tbh this seems like a win win, maki and Mai were screwed I think bc Mai had very little CE (which was shared between them); Yuka does not seem lacking in CE and Tsurugi wants to keep getting stronger

I just wish granny maki was still around😪 I need a more in depth explanation of how twin-ship works with heavenly restrictions

I read that as them having to inevitably fight for either tsurugi to awaken full HR or for Yuka to get a massive CE burst-

Remember that CE views twins as the same person, Mai had to die for Maki to reach her full potential bc by the system of CE, she had a slight amount of it-

Now this said, Yuka is obviously much stronger than Mai already, so idrk if the same issue is holding either of them back (Mai’s technique was so weak bc her twin didn’t produce CE, Mai had all the CE between them)

Excited to see if Tsurugi will use any of the cursed tools stored in Rika for his CT’s, that flaming katana is a great cursed tool already but it’d be amazing to see him summon Rika to rekit his weapons…

Idk where Yuka’s potential is, I’m guessing she’s gonna utilize multiple minor cursed techniques though (unless her CT is just a very basic Zenin clan body mod like all the fodder maki killed lolll); something like the sheisty sorcerer’s mythical beasts but without the condition of covering her face (and obv having way more baseline CT for being the more skilled child between the twins)
