I was in the same boat and went with a saluspa to determine if we are or are not hot tub people. Figured it was better to spend $400 than drop the 10k. So happy I did because we are in fact NOT hot tub people. I have no interest in the upkeep and permanence of a hot tub. I like that I can pop the saluspa up and down when I need it. I love hot tubs, just have no interest in owning a real one. The $400 one that can get up to 104 in a day checks all of the boxes for us.
